I had the most pleasant experience from the beginning, talking to Anita to the consultation with Dr. Oakland to meeting with him the day before surgery to the surgery to after surgery. I did my research very well to find a surgeon that understood my needs and was also realistic with me. From being a child to being a grown-up, my nose was my biggest insecurity alongside with my upper teeth, not showing due to my lip. I sent him pictures of what I wanted, and he was able to deliver. I admired Dr. Oakland‘s and Anita’s rapport. His techniques that he uses is also what drew me to my final decision that Dr. Oakland was the surgeon for me. After surgery, the aftercare was phenomenal. He reached out numerous times making sure I was recovering well and I was feeling well along with how happy I was with my results. From day one I have been ecstatic with my rhinoplasty, alar base reduction, lip lift and buccal fat removal. Due to his awesome techniques, I had zero pain from the moment I woke up and it had stayed this way. Very, very, very minimal bruising hardly none and it went away after I iced my lower eyes for a small time. I did have some swelling of my lip, but that was inevitable. Three months postop Dr. Oakland and Anita continue to contact me and see how I am doing.
