Very unhappy - uneven nostrils, polly beak deformity and breathing issues

I’m now fully healed as this is the results, uneven nostrils, a polybeak deformity and breathing issues. And the doctor has no sympathy said he’ll do a revision for a further £5000 which I cannot afford nor would I want him touching my nose again. I’m considering a small amount of filler to make it look a bit more normal for now as I just can’t stand it.

We are very sorry that you feel disappointed. As you know many factors can affect healing from surgery and ultimately the result of surgery; in particular some patient have very thick skin over the tip of their nose that will limit the result possible in the nasal tip. This limitation of the degree of definition possible in the tip is important for any patient with particularly thick nasal skin to accept and understand, and is something that is always explained to patients before any surgery is agreed. You will recall that some patients who have very thick nasal tip skin to the extent that without closely following clear postoperative advice, may result in prolonged significant swelling and ultimately result in a significant amount of thickened/scar tissue that can affect the final result. Unfortunately some patients do not or cannot follow the postoperative care advice due to many factors, and it is important that patients attend for follow up appointments as failure to attend means that early intervention and care are more difficult to arrange. Rhinoplasty remains a very complex type of surgery and patient dissatisfaction and unpredictability of result are a risk factor that any patient is always made aware of. I am aware. I have consulted with other doctors who have said that it looks as if too much bone/cartilage has been taken away and I should’ve had steroid injections earlier. I also attended every appointment that was given and asked for your support previously but you have not helped. All you have done is offer me a revision for £5000, most decent doctors would revise there work for free or at low cost.
Sorry to hear your surgeon is not facing up to his mistakes and offering you free revision surgery. I hate these type of replies where they 'not so subtly' blame the patient for their own shortcomings. Good luck getting help elsewhere. So sorry you have gone through all this. I saw some negative comments on here last year and decided not to go with him. He seems to be all about making a name for himself On tv from what I’ve seen. They’ve let you down badly. I hope others read your review and stay clear of him. Best of luck with the revision x

Rhinoplasty Let Down

I have had a rhinoplasty with Mr Hassan and I am very unhappy. Every time I have told him I’m unhappy with what he’s done He has been very dismissive and he will not take responsibility. I’m now 26 months post op and left with an awful nose with a polybeak deformity, breathing issues, uneven nostrils and a bridge I’m unhappy with. Considering I’ve paid £8650 for this it’s not acceptable and I’m now seeking a revision from a different doctor who knows what he’s doing. I’m aware of others unhappy with his work also.

Do not go to him! He's a nose job on a Tuesday and a boob job on a weds doctor. Seek out a surgeon who specialises in rhinoplasty. A surgeon who does noses day in day out. I'm seeking revision after having a rhinoplasty off this man 18 months ago and I regret it every day. Take my advice

100% agree with you. I've had revision after his work on me and I'm still not happy; if you don't get it right first time it's harder to get it how you want. I wish I'd done more research and like you said gone to someone who does noses day in day out! Such a waste of money too as he's very expensive :(
