Let me begin by saying that I am not one for hyperbole. I’m an anxious pessimist by nature with a dash of OCD and my general opinion of the medical profession usually falls somewhere between pragmatic skepticism and downright terror. When I say that Dr. Ridgway and his staff provided me with the most phenomenal medical experience of my life, I mean it wholeheartedly and without an ounce of exaggeration.

Did Dr. Ridgway provide natural results that were harmonious with my existing features with the skill of a world class surgeon and the eye of an artist? Absolutely! Did his expertise improve my quality of life both physically and emotionally? 100%! However, the greatest gift I received from working with Dr. Ridgway actually has very little to do with the end result, and everything to do with how I felt during the entire process from start to finish.

Dr. Ridgway met with me multiple times before I even made the decision to book my surgery, and took the time to answer all of my questions with patience and empathy, and with descriptions and examples that allowed even a Literature major like myself to understand the intricacies of my surgery. More importantly, I was never once made to feel like a burden; every single person I came into contact with treated me with the utmost kindness and respect, and I left every appointment feeling valued and heard.

The result of this investment of energy and time is that I felt fully prepared heading into my procedure. Dr. Ridgway and his team do an incredible job of educating their patients and setting them up for the best possible results. By following Dr. Ridgway’s instructions, I was left with exactly zero surprises and felt completely in control of my recovery and post-operative experience.

Dr. Ridgway and his team gave me the time, space, and resources to allow my mind to do what it needed to do in order for me to feel safe and prepared, and for that I cannot recommend Dr. Ridgway highly enough!
