I had a severely deviated septum and whilst it wasn’t especially obvious on the outside, my nasal function was compromised. When I was looking for a surgeon, I struggled to find the right balance of someone who had the technical expertise needed to handle the complicated restructure inside whilst also making sure that aesthetically I would get a good result. My primary goal wasn’t aesthetic but at the same time I knew it was going to make a huge impact on how my nose looked.
