No pain, minimal bruising & an amazing rhinoplasty result!

I went to see Mr Joshi due to my inability to breath through my nose. I believe this was caused from being hit in the nose many years ago as a child, and had found that as time passed, it got worse. All the time when I slept, I would have to breathe through my mouth which caused countless disturbed nights; dried mouth, dried airways and coughing constantly woke me up throughout the night. I just accepted that was my “normal”! My consultation was nice and easy - a discussion about my concerns during which Mr Joshi used a camera to see what was going on in my nasal airways. He immediately diagnosed a severely deviated septum and a lot of congestion. What I loved about Mr Joshi at that consultation was his passion for helping me / people and how he referred to his work as an art. I’d read all his reviews and how people having the same rhinoplasty and septoplasty had recovered with virtually no bruising and no pain. I could tell from his description of how he would approach my issues that this would be the case for me and I was in safe hands. I booked in for the full septoplasty and rhinoplasty in London and went in as a day case. It was absolutely true what I’d read about Mr Joshi’s surgeries and skills; I had no pain and only a minimal amount of bruising which lasted only a few days. The day after my surgery (which lasted 3.5hrs and was pretty complicated due to my damaged, deviated septum and involved cartilage grafts to repair it and straighten it in open surgery), I felt totally normal!!! I couldn’t believe how OK I felt after only 24 hours. Yes, I was bunged up and couldn’t breath through my nose (only to be expected) but my healing was rapid and by day 7, I drove myself to see Mr Joshi to take the cast off! The cast came off to reveal a perfectly straight nose that sat down the middle of my face instead of at an angle, and I still looked like “me”. I had asked to avoid any sort of “ski slope” or trending nose off Instagram, and by week 4 when I returned full time to work, nobody noticed I had even had it done!! This was the perfect surgical result - a completely straight nose, able to breath and healing beautifully. Also of equal importance to me was that I’d had no post-surgical complications! Now I am 3 months post-surgery and I can breathe properly, I am getting a full 8.5 hours sleep per night and feel incredible. What a difference to the rest of my life Mr Joshi has made! There’s a tiny scar underneath my nose across the septum, but it unnoticeable unless you’re looking for it! Sometimes my nose is a little sensitive on the skin, and itchy where it’s still changing and healing. Realistically the full result isn’t likely to be seen for 6 months - 1 year, but after only 3 months, it looks lovely. I would wholeheartedly recommend Mr Joshi for any nose surgery. I watched many YouTube Vlogs but to be honest, I couldn’t find many whose recovery was as free from pain or bruising as mine!! Make sure you eat well and take the time for yourself to properly rest. I ate anti-inflammatory foods which I’m sure helped, slept lots and kept it clean twice a day for 2 months (now I can do a few times a week). You’re in safe and skilled hands with Mr Anil Joshi.
