Final update post revision with a different surgeon

For those who have emailed me asking: my revision rhinoplasty was a closed rhinoplasty and my surgeon used ear cartilage to smooth the profile and reinforce the tip. I am so happy with the results. Revision is always a more complicated and expensive surgery. I know I would have gotten this final result if I had just gone to the right surgeon the first time.

Revision update with different surgeon

I recently had a revision surgery in Washington DC with another surgeon and now have the nose of my dreams. I am only a week out of surgery and love the results. If you have a bad experience, please know there is light at the end of the tunnel. My bad experiences have taught me to research and ask more questions, and not get swept up in fancy celebrity-esque promo. It is how you are treated afterwards that is the telling of good surgeon.

Who did you end up using for your revision rhino please?
Looks so good now! Who was your revision surgeon?? I've been looking for years and can't find one I'd feel comfortable with
I think your end result after the revision is perfect, any chance you could share who did your revision?
You are beautiful and your nose is perfect. I’m really glad you’re happy xox
I think the dude who messed up originally should give you a refund. It’s the right thing to do. Hugs

I don't really know where to begin. Outrageous cost, I paid around 22k for a closed rhinoplasty which needs a revision. Granted, I have seen worse botched jobs by him on here, and I count myself very lucky it is not worse. He has so much fancy promo and says he is a nose job expert so frankly I am just confused. For that kind of price (which is crazy), I have no clue whatsoever why my profile has a cartilage bump near the tip. It's just really weird. My nose was larger but not deformed or hooked in shape before, just larger, so this rhinoplasty should have been relatively straightforward. Waited a full year for proper healing and reached out to them with photos and they didn't respond.

I'm sorry this happened to you. Count your blessings honey. Like you said, it could have been so much worse. You are still beautiful.
Thank you for your kind words! I did get it fixed by someone else and am now happy.
Who did your revision? I need one and have been searching for a doctor
Mine is a complete mess with skin sticking out and a piece of my columenella is missing
Was it by the same dr?
I am so sorry.... how completely traumatic. I hope you end up getting a revision that takes care of it.
Ummm how do u guys plan on helping. Giving the person a secondary botched job. Makes no sense. Just close down the business bc u guys are horrible
Well said
The before and after pics look exactly the same. Hope they can offer a revision, they should take some sort of accountability being that they charge top dollar. I would file a claim against them. 22k for a rhinoplasty is ridiculous to begin with but to not be happy with the outcome is not acceptable.
