Office review: I can’t be the only one who had concerns that needed to be addressed prior to surgery

I found this doctor through social media, and he had amazing reviews everywhere, and he is board certified which is so hard to find so I felt like I had found the right surgeon for me. I scheduled a consultation, and had to wait a month, but then I ended up having to reschedule thanks to my work schedule and they made me wait another month. I was disappointed about the wait, but I figured it was my fault for not asking my job for the day off. Anyways, when the day of the consultation came around I was nervous, but he was super nice and addressed everything I wanted fixed so I felt like I had chosen the right surgeon. I had some questions, but he told me to first think about whether I was sure I would go through with it before he answered anything, and I said okay. His assistant sent me a quote of what I would be paying with the help of insurance, and they told me to send pictures of my “deviated septum” to them first so they could let me know whether insurance would approve me or not. I did, but Dr. Reish said they weren’t good, and I did try several times, but I feel like my breathing problem isn’t visible on the outside which is what I told them. They insisted I keep trying which was very annoying to me because I told them I was willing to pay full price. This discouraged me so it took me a while to get back to them. After 3-4 months I contacted them again, and his assistant is so hard to get in touch with, but once I got a hold of her she sent me a new quote for 17k. I said “that’s fine” because I knew how much this surgery costs, but I did have questions I needed answered so his assistant told me to get in touch with him. By the way, her name is Melissa and she was extremely rude several times. She didn’t let me finish my sentences, and she would interrupt me all the time, and one time she even hung up on me before I finished speaking. I still contacted Dr.Reish because he had made a good impression on me, but that was all ruined when he failed to reply to my questions. I sent them to him through text because he said that was fine, but he never answered. After a week I decided to email them to him, and again no response. I think it’s been a little over a month since I sent the last email. I just find it weird that he wouldn’t answer my questions because I feel as though I can’t be the only one who had concerns that needed to be addressed prior to surgery. I find it hard to believe his patients just jumped into surgery.
