2 year post-op - not at all happy with what my nose looks like
ORIGINAL POST
Not Professional, Extremely Disappointed
I had wanted to get a rhinoplasty for the longest time ever. I did my research for a very long time and wanted to either go through with the surgery in Iran or Turkey because they are the best when it comes to rhinoplasties. So after looking up reviews and asking around, I finally decided on Dr Resit. I also decided to go with him because I wanted to make my nose a lot smaller since it was way too big for my face and after consulting with his assistant on Whatsapp and describing my preffered results as well as sending pictures, both of my nose and pictures of my ideal nose, asking if it would be possible to achieve similar results and receiving the answer "yes, it is possible", I was convinced.
I went to Istanbul on the 24th of May 2021 and had my surgery the next day, on the 25th of May 2021. I was the first patient that morning. I got very anxious after my consultation because even though I decided on the "cool" (more dramatic) option, meaning that he would have to break the bone of the nose, and showed me edited pictures of my nose and how the results would approximately turn out, it still felt quite big. It felt too late to back out so I decided to put my trust in him and I told him that as well, I also made sure to tell him that I wish for my nose to be as small as possible.
When I woke up from the anesthesia and first saw pictures of my nose (taken right after the surgery) I was extremely happy. It looked way better than the edited pictures at the consultation. I was happy with my nose for the first few weeks after removing the cast myself. Sometimes the tip would still feel big but I knew that it was because of the swelling so I was patient.
Now it has been almost 2 years since my surgery and to be honest, I am not at all happy with what my nose looks like. It doesn't look like it did after the surgery at all, the tip is ENORMOUS and it has dropped way too much. I get really insecure when people take pictures or videos of me from my profile or even by someone standing next to me because my nose (mostly the tip) literally looks like it did before the surgery. It's still extremely big for my face and I feel extremely disapointed. I have tried contacting his assistant on Whatsapp but I have not been offered any solution that I feel satisfied with. I expected to get this fixed free of charge but to my surprise the "solution" was to pay a significantly higher amount for a revision rhinoplasty. Honestly I have never heard of anything like this before. It's not professional at all.

Sorry to hear you're not happy with your results :( Are you going to look for a different doctor for a revision?
