And I hate how one angle it looks sloped and the other angle it looks straight bridge... I wish one side wasn’t so sloped having it sloped makes it look way longer

I have this angle too and I hate it also:(.

Thank you I’ve been traumatized since I was 10. Hated my nose this was dream for me I didnt have 10,500k lying around took me a long time to save for my nose to be non functional and with a painful bump on it. I just thought id be a lot happier :(

I have the same thing from one side it looks straight from the other side it looks sloped. We just have to wait for the swelling to go down. I think with time it will change.
January 2, 2019
Yes I hope with time it’ll get better I hate the way it looks different from different angles
January 2, 2019
Well I think I am done with the swelling as I am 2 years postop now so not expecting it to change. I just accepted it.
January 2, 2019
Yea at some point we all have to except it.... just hope my review helps other people in their decision and that it’s so important to have really good communication with the surgeon i actually had a feeling this might happed my case wasn’t an easy one my nose was deviated so a month before my surgery I Emailed he dr and asked if he felt confident with my case he reassured me and even asked to email him the photo of what I wanted when I went in that morning he didn’t even have he photo I sent I think having too many patients is not a good thing because you became just another surgery just another nose... I know he’s a great surgeon but when he has so many patients in a week it becomes less personal and it shouldn’t be that way I mean we are paying over 10k it’s a very serious surgeries it’s in the middle of our face!!:( just wish I was as happy as other girls

I totally agree with you. I actually saw in other reviews before my surgery ppl were saying one side is slopier than the other but I did not realize it could happen to me too. There were time I thought maybe it was in my head or different lighting or the way I turn my head in the picture but I know it is real. I feel like this makes the tip looking a bit overprojected. I was even considering to put filler on that side but I am not going to put fillers till the rest of my life and I would not want to go to revision surgery for this so I accepted it. Also I am more unhappier about my nostrils and was hoping he would revise them but he is not willing. So I have no choice but to accept it. You also try not to focus on it too much. Even the most beautiful people - models and actresses have angles that are not perfect. Your front is very nice and tnis is he most important.

Yeah it looks kinda overprojected w the slopier side even though the whole goal was to deproject my overprotected tip :( i don’t want to go through another revision but i just wish i was happier about all of this. My two roommates went to him too and they have amazing cute little noses I just wish I could have had the same experience as them

@marena, I also saw his patients and they did not have that problem. In my case I think he took a bit too much off the bridge on the right side. In early stages I was hoping that my left side was swollen more since I read the right handed surgeon do closed rhinoplasty through the left nostril. I thought thing will even out but now I am 2 years and it has not improved. When he took my 1,5 year post op pics with his professional camera, it was not that obvious but when I look in the mirror or take selfies with my phone, I see it.

@marena_k I totally understand you... the crazy thing is my sister and niece we to a surgeon in TJ they paid $3400 and they have super nice results better than what mine looks like :( I thought they were nuts for going to TJ to do he surgery and thought I would rather pay the 10,500 for amazing results than risk it! And look at me now:( I will remain patient and I still think he’s a good surgeon I just had that bad luck. Oh and I can’t breath from my right nostril it sucks

I see what you’re saying about one side being more sloped. I had that issue too the first 2 months. I actually had sooo many issues the first 2 months appearance wise that i hated, which I’m sure you’ve read in my review. But let me tell you, month 4 made all the difference for me. I just now am seeing the right side of nose start to even out with the left. I don’t know why but the right side held on to more swelling for some reason. I was soooo stubborn and refused to believe that my nose would continue to change (for the better) as time goes on. But it really does! To be honest mine kinda of looked like yours the first couple of months. It will get better! Since I’m now starting to feel good about my nose at only 4 months, I’m pretty confident that I’ll be happy with it in 12 months. And I’m confident that you will too :)
January 4, 2019
Oh really well I’m glad your happier now with it:) I hope that happens with me. I think he is great I love all of his before and afters I’ll try m be patient hopefully it gets shorter somehow and this weird slope issue goes away I’m only at 2 mo so I have a few to go
January 5, 2019
GIRLLLL i’m having the same issue he did the exact same thing w me too and i’m only 3 mo post op!! :/ :/ i’m hoping it changes but idk
January 5, 2019
like the angles and stuff and he’s so golf i love his before and after and he also said 3 mo is too early to tell so i jsut hope swelling and stuff goes down
January 5, 2019
Hi, oh really :( yes i have my appointment with him in a couple weeks I agree that we have swelling and that it does affect the final results but not by much I mean this is a pretty good idea of what it will look like. I feel most people might just get used to the new nose. But i have heard of people really liking it after all the swelling goes away.
Still so bummed I’m in so much pain today I have a bump near my eye that is throbbing it’s hard like bone :(
January 6, 2019
omg :// you should see bring that up w him! how many months post op are you ikr hen he was telling me at my post op in my head i was like it’s not drastically going to change that much and take on a complete diff form but he reassured me and said that it is too early to tell and that this isn’t the final and i don’t necessarily think i agree with that. To me it feels like doctors blame everything on swelling ugh Also at 2-5 week post op i started noticing how one sides slopy and overprotected and the other is normal and i hate it but it feels as if that i the result :/
January 6, 2019
theres some girls on youtube who documented their swelling for the entire first year - you'd be surprised how much the nose changes over a year.
January 6, 2019
I agree the it changes but for the most part you have a pretty good idea of what it’s looking like.. honestly I liked my nose Better when it was swollen m going to post some photos of the difference soon I feel like in my case the swelling was hiding all the imperfections I am now noticing. But i do hope it evens out.
January 13, 2019
Looks nice. I also went on this dr and had the worst result.
January 15, 2019
That sucks I’m sorry I wish everyone wrote a review. I don’t read that many bad reviews until people started messaging me. I think every surgeon will have a few bad reviews because they can’t make everyone happy but me personally I don’t think he really paid attention to what I was wanting it really felt like I was just another person wanting to get my nose done i feel just as bad as I did before surgery but now I’m out 10k it really sucks I’m still hoping for change with the healing but I don’t see it changing the lenth is what bothers me.

I can’t get over how bad it looks I hate how long it looks especially when people I know are telling me it looks long. I hate myself right now

It really doesn't look that long in my opinion!
January 4, 2019
Thanks you just looks very long to me. It’s not extremely long but I was expecting something closer to the photo I showed him. I do understand sometimes it’s not possible based on our existing structure n bones but I had seen some amazing before and afters where he had made the nose so extremely close to the photos that patients give him I just wanted it shorter my nose was similar to this lengths to begin with just bummed out
January 2, 2019
Your nose looks nice trust me it will go down, your results are nice
January 4, 2019
Thank you hoping it goes down my nose was pretty much this long before surgery it just looks lifted
January 2, 2019
I am so sorry you are going through this. I too am feeling sad over this. I still have painful sores in my nose. I avoid the mirror. Missing the old makes me sad so I try to avoid the entire thing.
January 4, 2019
Thanks yea it’s been very hard I try m avoid it as well I hope things get better for us. I continue to believe he’s a great surgeon just wish I would have told him more of what I wanted he seemed rushed the day of surgery he cane in for 30 seconds to talk to me and left quickly. Just kept telling myself “it’s ok he’s got this he’s great at what he does” now I regret it I should have made sure he understood about the length. I’ll have to ask him for my file and see what was done.
