After nine months I can say that I really like my nose. I definitely feel more confident now. The only thing I don’t like is the 3/4 view. I also still have breathing problems: runny nose and constant congestion. Sleeping on my left side I can breathe but as soon as I turn to my right side I can’t breathe through my nose at all. During the day I always have to have tissues with me. I tape my nose during the night it looks so much better in the morning. The tip of my nose is still numb.

Looks good! I just had surgery with Dr. G about 10 days ago and overall am super happy, except it's much wider from the front than it was before surgery. I'm a little nervous because it actually doesn't feel very swollen, on the upper bridge where it's wide it's actually very hard, so I'm worried it's the grafts he put in and that it won't change. I saw you struggled with your front view for quite awhile too. Did you see much improvement at any point or did you just get used to it?

My nose is slimmer now I don’t think I could get used to it being wider. I think after 4 months I started to see the difference. Your nose is probably just swollen. Sometimes it feels like it could be a bone but it’s not it’s just swelling. I still have swelling at the tip of my nose. Unfortunately this is a long process.

Not much has changed. This is such a slow process but I know it will be worth it in the end.

Wow healing beautifully. Did you request a slope or is this what he recommended best suitable for your face? Also, do you know if your thick or thin skin? I have a similar nose and would help me as a reference. Also, did he need to place spreader grafts for you?

Thank you! I have thin skin and I don’t know if he used spreader grafts. Originally I wanted a straight profile. I showed him my wish picture which was one of his patients and he said that she has a slight slope. So I agreed to have a slight slope. If I could go back in time I would ask for a straight profile.

This month my nose has been more swollen than last month. I wore my sunglasses two days ago for the first time after the surgery. Now I have a dent on one side of my nose. It’s not visible in the pictures but I can see it and feel it.
