Before and after pictures

Wanted to also add photos for my review to show nose before and nose after. You can clearly see how much better and aesthetically pleasing nose was prior to surgery. Literally in tears nearly every day.

Wow, this surgeon SUCKS. Thank you for warning everyone. Stay away from this awful doctor!
So sorry, I'm afraid to have it done.
I’m sorry this happened. Makes no sense that doc did that and then didn’t even offer himself or a colleague to tweak it on him or a refund for what he even admitted was suboptimal. Maybe best to leave it alone but still. If it’s any consolation, compared most noses, both noses are lovely. I had to read the other review to know which one was the “after” photo. And I too wouldn’t have noticed the nostril size difference. But I can understand your disappointment. I would like a small adjustment but this makes me think I should just love the nose I have so thank you for sharing.
ORIGINAL POST
$12,000 Mistake
It has been over a year since my surgery and I was hoping to be writing a positive, worth-it review, unfortunately did not turn out that way for me. Of note, I did my due diligence in looking for a surgeon. The positive of the surgery, is my nasal hump is gone and my profile is good. The negatives are I now have a front profile that I hate! My nose is twice as wide as before the surgery, I have nostril asymmetry, which makes my nose look crooked, and multiple bumps and divots in the bone/cartilage. The worst though is that I have lost feeling in the lower half of my nose. It has been over 14 months and I have been told there is less than a 2% chance it will return.
As for Dr. Markey and his staff, it all started out really well, but by 6 weeks post-op things changed and continued to do so throughout my one-year follow-up. Some of the phrases told to me by Dr. Markey; “Well I can only get the plane in the air; the rest is out of my hands.” “Yep, it looks awful!” “You know if you are not happy, you do not have to come back and see us.” And if those weren’t bad enough, his assistant told me at my 6-month post op, “You’re not 18 anymore, not sure what you expected, but you are not going to heal well.” I honestly think Dr. Markey does great work and he is very nice and has a good bedside manner, I just don’t think he, nor his team, know how to deal with a bad surgical outcome, especially when I did everything I was supposed to do, yet I was made to feel guilty because my nose looks awful and because I was an older patient.
Dr. Markey has agreed to see me again, but I know a revision is the only thing that will fix the issues and I don't want to go through it again, especially since I am still having numbness. In looking back, I should've be confident in who I was and not undergone surgery. Definitely feel like the whole thing was a $12,000 mistake.

I think you still look very pretty! I have been through Rhino/Septo 8 months ago. I had asymetry early on and a wider looking nose after the surgery than before.

every "action" has a reaction as well like two sides of a coin. if they make your nose more straight ( in profile ) it will automatically look more wide and flat from the top / frontal view. you should get a liquid nose job. you get a thin layer "line" of hyaluronic acid on the top of the nose, that will make it slimmer and look more fine. the effect is similar to the light concealer contouring on the nose....
and with the filler you also can correct the asymmetric nostrils btw.....

But overall your nose is beautiful! If you didn't tell I probably would not have noticed the different nostril sizes I would classify you as pretty nose
Pic 2 is stunning
Good luck
