I feel like it fits my face so much more I feel like it’s more proportional to my face. I still tape it every now and then I don’t wear my nostril plugs anymore but I still have them in case I want to wear them again. Surgery is the easiest part the after care is so important make sure to tape and wear your nostril plugs so your nose can keep it’s beautiful shape as you heal keep in mind that your nose takes a long time to heal and scar tissue can develop you can also develop a deviated septum etc you have to provide your body the right tools so it can heal itself and by your wearing your plugs it will keep your nostrils in shape and will keep your nose straight and the tape will help with swelling and scar tissue! Realistically I know it sounds crazy but you should do this every night for 3 months and afterwards every other night taping (for the whole year) and for the nostril plugs wear them as much as you can you will thank yourself later in the future when your nose settles. Most people abandon taping and wearing the nose plugs are lucky for their nose to heal perfectly fine and although there is a chance you’ll be fine but you don’t want to chance that so for the whole year you heal tape at night and wear your plugs often and your nose will heal fabulous! Remember this is an investment in yourself you don’t want to ruin it by not taking care of it.

I am about 2 maybe 3 weeks shy of being one year! January 22 yayyyy! As the weeks have been counting on I’ve been taping my nose every night I used to tape every now and then but since my year is approaching I wanted to tape every night! Anyways this is my nose almost one year no filter I’m very happy with my results! I love my nose so much I also still throw in my nostril plugs from time to time when I tape as well. I’m all about keeping up with my nose it’s an investment anytime you do surgery on your body and you want to take care of it :) To those of you who decide to have rhino regardless of the doctor always make sure to take proper care of your nose it takes one year almost two in some cases to heal and even longer if you have to go for a revision so if you can take proper care of it to avoid that you’ll appreciate it so much more. It’s been a long journey and I feel that I still have lots more of healing to do I can’t wait to see what it looks like a year and a half or two years down the road. :)

Y’all this was my nose after I pulled off my second cast. I had one put on right after surgery and I had it on for a week and then I had another one placed on my nose on the way home so it would be protected and extra sturdy. At home I left it on for a couple of days and then took it off. Im super swollen my eyes are still dark this was my nose right after you can see how swollen my tip was and how huge my nose was. I was like OMG WTFFF!!! I knew that my nose was healing. Don’t beat yourself up if you don’t like your cast off nose your nose just went through something very traumatic and it takes 1-2 years to heal so don’t be so hard on yourself. I wanted to show this video to show that it gets better over time your body will take care of itself stay positive and just know that from that day forth everyday your nose will get cuter and cuter! Be prepared to get used to your new face as well remember you’ve been looking at your old nose in the mirror for years this will be a new change for you keep in mind the positives you might have went in to fix a hump or get your nose smaller etc keep those things in mind and know that it will get better each day!
