UPDATED FROM marbro1

7 months post op update

Just wanted to give you guys a 7 month post op update! I'm very happy with my results. Swelling is definitely a journey and some days I was really worried but I just had to trust in the process. I started using a gua sha recently and I think its really helped with reducing residual puffiness in my face! I don't have any scarring from the rhinoplasty or chin implant. When I run my finger along the area where the chin implant scar was I can still kind of feel where it was so I guess its still healing but I don't see it. No problems with breathing and my smile is totally back to normal! Not sure when my upper lip numbness went away but its definitely been back to normal for the last few months.

Life Changing!

Disclaimer: This is going to be a very long review, but when I was contemplating surgery it was hard to find many chin implant reviews from women. So I'm going to be very thorough for anyone that is scared to take the leap like I was!
I am currently 8 days post op since my rhinoplasty and chin implant and I already couldn't be more thrilled with my results! I have really wanted rhinoplasty for the last 6 years but was always too scared to take the leap because it is so scary to trust someone with your face. I researched so many doctors but never felt comfortable. So many either had results that I felt didn't demonstrate an appreciation for the nuances of what it takes to achieve a beautiful natural result or nice results but not consistently enough to make me feel comfortable. I knew Dr. Reish was the right choice when I looked through all of his photos and couldn't find a single result I didn't like! Dr. Reish is the closest thing to a guarantee as you can get! His results are so consistently masterful and you can tell he has an incredible grasp of balance in aesthetics that really can't be taught. He is truly an artist.
I knew going in that I wanted a rhinoplasty but I have always been dissatisfied with my side profile in general. So, during our initial video consultation I asked Dr. Reish for his suggestion. As soon as I turned to the side he immediately said I would be a good candidate for a chin implant. I was really shocked at first because I had never considered it and needed time to process and research the procedure. I had a hard time finding reviews from women with chin implants so I was really afraid of ending up with a big bulky chin and looking masculine or different from the front. I was also worried that I would always feel some strange device in my chin. But with Dr. Reish's confidence and my confidence in his vision I decided to go ahead with the implant as well and I couldn't be happier that I did! My profile is so much more balanced now and I don't think I look different at all from the front. I also don't feel the implant at all. Dr. Reish used a MEDPOR implant for me and he custom shaped it to suit my face. Apparently the implant eventually integrates itself with your bones so there's no risk of it shifting like the silicone ones.
I was very nervous about undergoing the surgeries but every step of the way, I felt totally supported Dr. Reish and his team. Dr. Reish and his PA Rachel both gave me their personal numbers so I could reach out any time with any concerns I have. They have always been super responsive and so kind!
My first night of surgery was really rough because I was bleeding a lot from the rhinoplasty but I gave Dr. Reish a call and he immediately sent over a prescription to relieve my symptoms. The first 2 days of recovery from rhinoplasty were the hardest because you have to keep a gauze on your nose so you have to breathe through your mouth the whole time. Definitely make sure to stay hydrated and get mouth sprays because your throat will be sore! But after the gauze came off things got a lot better. Throughout the entire recovery I felt absolutely no pain from my chin implant which was a really pleasant surprise!
I still have bruising and I'm apparently still pretty swollen but I already feel prettier than I ever have in my entire life! It feels like a huge weight has been lifted and I can go out into the world and shine brighter than ever before with nothing holding me back! I can't thank Dr. Reish and his team enough.
