I regret it.

Had I known that having surgery would change my life, I wouldn’t have done it. I had a seizure 2 months after surgery undiagnosed. Now have had 5 and considered epileptic. Prior to rhinoplasty, I was fine. Now I can’t really breathe through my nose like before and the doctor didn’t even care enough to consult me post op 12 months later.

10 Weeks Post Op

Time has flew after my surgery. Today is week 10 day 2 after Rhinoplasty Surgery. I still don’t smell 100%, I have watery runny nose randomly throughout the day (annoying) and I am happy with my side profile completely. However, I wish my tip was narrowed a bit more but I understand not everything is possible with thick skin. The good thing is that when I smile my tip doesn’t drop anymore and again my profile is amazing! I plan to make a YouTube video on my journey since I consulted with 4 different doctors and all of them were different, it was so interesting I want to share.

6 Weeks Post Op

I can’t believe it’s been 6 weeks since my rhinoplasty surgery. Although my tip is still numb to touch, the swelling has decreased slowly. They tip of my nose wasn’t as slim as I expected, specifically due to my thick skin. However, I still love the results as I see the difference on the side profile and when I smile. I started sleeping normal (on my side) around week 4. I still wear the medical tape every night to reduce swelling while sleeping. I admit, my ability to smell is not 100% back yet as I smell metallic 90% of the time and 10% slight normal smell. The annoying part is what seems to be dry buggers but end up being strings that I assume come off with time eventually. Overall, I recommend this surgery to anyone that is not happy with their nose appearance. From all surgeries, this has been the least painful. Most painful was otoplasty (ear pinning). Let me know if anyone has any questions.
