I am now about 8 weeks out and boy are the ups and downs crazy! Sorry I haven’t updated lately but some days I am so swollen and some it looks good.

Following you! I’m in the same boat (but behind you... I’m 6 weeks post op). I have moments where I’m like, YES! Looks amazing! But most days I just feel like it’s swollen. Trying to stay positive and patient, but sometimes that’s easier said that done! You look great :-)

Thank you so much! I used to read these things and say “what is she complaining about I would love her nose??” But after you go through the roller coaster yourself you begin to understand. I know know what they meant. You want all that pain and discomfort to feel worth it. Some days I do and some I’m like “he should have taken a little more down??” But being patient is the name of the game. I keep reminding myself that. I’m so glad you an relate stay in touch! Do you have pics?

Omg it didn’t post the rest of what I wrote lol so I’ll continue... Your nose already looks beautiful! I’m just wondering what it looks like completely healed.

It’s been a while and to be honest there re days I love it and days I feel like just not enough has happened. I still have a bump and feel my dr took the super conservative route. I wish more was done to be honest!

So the swelling now goes up and down. I try not to get too attached to it as it changes daily. I am finally going out again with friends and I don’t even remember I had it sometimes.

I can’t wait to get back into my normal daily routine - I still have very noticeable bruising beneath my eyes so I can’t really go out for coffee or a drink without people staring. I also feel like I’ve been touching my nose A LOT - mainly because it doesn’t hurt at all so nothing hinders me except for consciously reminding myself not to and you know how easy it is to get distracted when in a deep conversation with someone or when trying to read an email etc etc .... sometimes that gives me slight anxiety m.

Thank you guys so much for your kind comments. It’s still such a battle the swelling is up and down and the bump is not completely gone. I am trying so hard o be patient with the process so our comments made my day!!
