I had Open Rhinoplasty on 14/09/17 @ Spire Leicester Hospital, documenting my journey to help others who may be considering Rhinoplasty as this website helped me loads when making my decision! Attached are pictures of my nose before surgery, I had a dorsum hump on my nose and generally felt it was too large for my face... any questions you may have please let me know :) x

I've attached pictures during my recovery with my cast on. The first night in hospital wasn't the best, it was uncomfortable but I had no pain! After surgery my heart rate was very high so I had to stay in recovery overnight with nurses constantly checking on me, my heart rate was back to normal by the morning though which was good. I had a bit of sickness during the night but was feeling ok when they discharged me! As you see I was pretty lucky with bruising with only some slight bruising in between the eyes. I took arnica tablets 3 days before my surgery and I'm still currently taking them to help with bruising and swelling.

Cast Off!
LauraaHSeptember 24, 2017
I have attached pictures from the day I had my cast off, as you can see I was and still am very swollen!! I am currently 10 days post op and my nose is still very swollen. Hopefully it goes down by the day and I just have to be patient now! I'm still experiencing dizziness, I'm not sure why? Hoping it goes away as the swelling does. My bridge is exactly how I wanted it to be, excited to see the swelling go down and see the final results!
