Had nose surgery with Dr. jae Hoon Kim at April31 Clinic and he botched my nose, over-resected my alars, and caused my nose to collapse; then he refused to take responsibility for it. Please visit tpf and search "April 31", he has botched many patients of all nationalities and when botched patients return to the clinic to complain- he avoids all responsibility and so do the other staff, DO NOT go to this doctor. There are many clinics in Korea with competent and ethical surgeons, Jae Hoon Kim is not one of them.

I am so sorry this happened. I know Korean. South Korean has the highest complication rate in plastic surgery.

Thanks babe. Very true about the complication rates, honestly I would only go back there for fat transfer because they do it the best out of anywhere I've been to. Korea lost it's appeal for a lot of ppl because its botch rate, for every 1 competent surgeon, there are 20 who have no idea what they're doing and rushed through school or fabricate their credentials.
ALL of my friends who have been there have suffered a complication or been unhappy at some point or the other with services provided in Korea. It's truly a pity because there are some great surgeons there, but the unethical ones with no scruples ruin everyone's reputation. Luckily I was able to recover part of the funds. From now on I'll use my Korean ENT surgeon in US for my Kbeauty, and only the predetermined list of Korean drs I've vetted for myself in personal meetings while I lived there, and those that have been referred to via local friends, or the Korean dr friend I made during the botch experience- he really tried to help me, referred me to his colleagues to review my case, and was highly ethical... if I ever do a vacation there again it will only be for small beauty treatments and skin care, I'm very grateful that I ended up getting my nose fixed in the US. xo
