I’ve Never Been Happier!
WORTH IT
My story starts like I’m sure a lot do. I was always going to have a pointy nose, but several traumas to the face as a child lead me to having a very large witchy (prominent bump) nose that made it hard to breathe, but also made me unbearably unhappy with the way I looked as an adult.
I spent a lot of time looking at before and after photos and decided to call horizon to set up an appointment. When I got there, the staff were very friendly and explained everything to me. Dr. Baldwin made me feel comfortable for each and every consultation and talked me through what to expect from the surgery but also details about the hospital stay and aftercare.I felt very safe with his opinions and advice. He explained what would be possible with my nose and I agreed to go ahead with the procedure.
The reception staff and nurses at Horizon are absolutely wonderful and I cannot speak highly enough of them. They kept me informed during the whole process so there were no surprise costs or bills that I wasn’t expecting. The nurses who took care of my follow up appointments were very kind which is exactly what you need when recovering.
Recovery was about 2.5 weeks for me. The worst part is the discomfort when sleeping, however it’s really not that bad! I’d happily go through it again for these results!
I am beyond happy with my new nose. Not only can I breathe better but each day I wake up and look forward to showing my face to the world. Dr.Baldwin corrected every part that I hated - he removed the bump, raised the tip, made it easier for me to breathe and reduced the size of it overall. My nose still looks like “my nose”, only 100 times better!
Going into this experience I had already accepted that my nose was probably too big to be fixed but Mark proved me wrong. I’m so happy with my new nose and I really can’t thank him enough.
Was it worth the money? Yes 100 times over!
I am only 6 weeks post-op, and will perhaps update this review in the future with photos as my nose heals further, but you can already see such a difference.
There is no part of this procedure that could have gone better. I’d rate 6/5 stars if I could.
