I went to Dr. Karam for rhinoplasty to fix the small "hump" on the bridge of my nose. His staff raved about how meticulous Dr. Karam was and how I would be so pleased with my results. After bandages came off i still had a bump on the right side of the bridge of my nose. He explained to me that it was swelling and to give it a year to see the final results. I went back several times after the year and he still kept assuring me that it was swelling and will go away. Well, I gave it well more than a year and the bump is more noticeable when you look at my nose as well as when you touch it. I went and got another opinion and the doctor I went to explained that I definitely still have a bump on the right side of my bridge and that it was due to my rhinoplasty not being done correctly. I took the written statement from this doctor to dr. Karam's office and they informed me that he will give me a call. Dr. Karam did call me and was super upset. He said that the doctor I went to was just bashing him and must have something against him. Again he stuck to his claim that I still had swelling and it will even out. He suggested that I can get filler injected in my bridge to even out the bump. Now why would I pay to get filler to fix a rhinoplasty that was supposed to fix the issue I had with my nose to begin with??? It has now been over 5 years and I am so UNHAPPY with my nose. I still have a hump on the right side of my bridge. It is extremely noticeable in photos. I can't even touch my nose without getting upset let alone look in the mirror or at photos. I am upset that Dr. Karam never owned up to this horrible rhinoplasty or offered to do anything to fix it. Trying to sell me fillers to fix his mess up is obsurd! I DO NOT recommend him at all as now I will have to pay for a revision elsewhere.

:( i know how u feel. I spent 11k on trying to get my nose more symmetrical only to come out looking worse and then had to get fillers to try even it out. Its so ridiculous!!! So many surgeons go on about swelling when they know they f*cked up but will never admit to it. My nose still look disgusting and crooked. I need to wait another year before i can even consider getting a revision rhino consult because i have too much filler in my nose. Are you planning on getting your nose fixed? There are some good revision surgeons out there, only a handful but thats better than nothing. Im wishing you all the best
Hi, I do plan on getting a revision. Its just so ridiculous that we pay all this money to have something fixed only to have it messed up then have to go through everything again and spend even more money to fix what the first surgeon messed up. I never got the fillers, I was scared he would F*ck that up to. Its been years now since my rhino as I thought I could just" live with it" but I can't. Sorry to hear about your experience as well. I really hope this year goes by quick for you so you can get a revision consult. Is it possible to have the filler dissolved? Best of luck!
U were right now to get fillers. The second time my surgeon used filler he stuffed it up and I had lumps all over my nose bridge. I got it dissolved and my skin lost it elasticity so I will never get the filler dissolved again. Just going to wait for it to wear off. It's just one nightmare after another. Have u got any surgeons in mind?

Hi shadia12, I'm sorry to hear about your experience. But, I went to dr. Karam too and I paid $10.000, for eye brows lift and fat transfer. Also, he told me wait until the swilling goes down and he will redo the surgery to fix it. After 8 months I went to see him as he asked me to, and he refused to do anything. Un ethical, Un professional doctor all he cares money money money.
Hi Riena, I can't believe Dr. Karam did that to you! Actually, I CAN believe it. It's so unfortunate that he doesn't have decency to make good for his mistakes. He and his staff will say anything to reel you in then once they get their money that's it. I'm so sorry that you too had to deal with this money hungry "doctor".
And be happy that he didn't redo your procedure because he probably would have made it worse! He should do the right thing and refund your money.
Thank you shadia12, I don't think he will refund my money. Doctors like him the only things he cares about, is the money not the patient.
He's so arrogant. He botched my bleph a bit and fat transfer. He fixed the bleph but they were super rude about it. Fat transfer left a big dent in my cheek
