How it works
  • Our highly-trained Review Moderation team evaluates all reviews before they're published to ensure they're written by people like you and not a member of a doctor's office.
  • This multi-step process takes up to 24 hours from review submission to publication.
  • Doctors can't pay to have reviews removed or hidden.
  • Reviews are only removed at the reviewer's request or if they violate our Terms of Service.

Anyone with Any Hesitation, Read This!

WOW. I truly truly don’t even know where to start. I have hated my nose since middle school, but I also have a horrible fear of needles. Like SO SO afraid. I decided to start looking into a rhinoplasty and told myself I was just looking— I wasn’t going to get one unless it felt right. I met with three other doctors before Dr. Reish. Two of them were nice. One was not. But none of them really clicked. A friend that got a nose job a few years ago told me it’s like finding a boyfriend... when you know, you know. I thought she was crazy at the time but the second Dr. Reish walked into the room at our first appointment I knew exactly what she meant. It just clicked. After one conversation I fully trusted him— that is a big deal considering your nose is literally the center of your face lol. I called my mom the second I left his office literally skipping down park ave with excitement.

I booked my surgery apt a few weeks later, and then the nerves hit. Like- holy s*** am I really about to do this. Did i rush into it? Did i pick the right doctor? What if I hate it? Do I really even need it? The same thoughts I’m sure whoever is reading this also has... I began to POUR over his reviews. Every night i was up until 1am reading google reviews, RealSelf reviews, his Instagram comments. Almost every single one was positive, and the negative ones were about things like wait times— nothing about Dr. Reish’s actual work (wait times were like 5-10 minutes, people are just dramatic). I began to wonder if the comments were real. How could they all be so good? I joined a NYC cosmetology Facebook group and asked if anyone had any opinions on Dr. Reish. I got a ton of private DMs with people gushing over him. That’s when I finally began to trust he was as good as he seemed.

The day of surgery came and i was TERRIFIED. I don’t even think terrified is a strong enough word? But I was in and out of surgery so fast that I didn’t really have time to dwell on my fear. Another commenter said his office is like a well oiled machine, and they are not wrong. The nurses, anesthesiologist, and everyone else are so amazing. They all know exactly what they are doing. I can’t remember one of the nurses name, but she takes you in and gets you ready for surgery and is the nicest human on the planet. I wanted to take her home with me and add her to my family haha. I should also add my mom is in the medical field (and also slightly crazy) and she asked EVERY question possible about the safety risks/ qualifications of every person in the room. If Dr. Reish’s office is safe enough for my mom, it’s safe enough for everyone lol.

Recovery sucked, not surprising, but that’s out of Dr. Reish’s control. He gives everyone his personal phone number and answers every text and phone call ASAP. I texted him every single day (including NYE and New Years Day) and he answered in minutes. I was swollen and bruised and couldn’t breathe, but by day 5 was feeling/ looking better and even going out in public.

I’m now on day 6, so still really swollen and can’t really tell much of a “result” yet but I have high hopes. High enough hopes that I’m writing this review before even seeing the final outcome lol! I will update at the end of next week or the one after, when it’s a little more noticeable. I do think once the swelling goes down it’ll look really good, and really natural. Dr. Reish does a great job finely tuning a nose while still making sure you look like you!! I met with him today to clean out my nose and my friends had me so nervous that it would hurt. One of them she said passed out from the pain. Dr. Reish cleaned me out in 30 seconds and I barely even felt him touch me. So that’s a huge plus!

If anyone wants photos, I can send them privately but like i said I’m super swollen so not much to really show yet.

To anyone reading this— go for it. If I can do it, anyone can.
