How it works
- Our highly-trained Review Moderation team evaluates all reviews before they're published to ensure they're written by people like you and not a member of a doctor's office.
- This multi-step process takes up to 24 hours from review submission to publication.
- Doctors can't pay to have reviews removed or hidden.
- Reviews are only removed at the reviewer's request or if they violate our Terms of Service.

So Happy with Mr Roberts
I recently underwent a procedure with Mr Roberts, and was delighted with both the process and the outcome. Mr Roberts was recommended to me by several friends who similarly had a fantastic experience, and I have since directed my friends in his direction. The reviews I have read below really do not fit with what I experienced at all so I wanted to leave a review here to encourage people considering rhinoplasty to trust him; he is excellent. I would be happy for him to share before and after pics to those debating having surgery.
The initial consultation was very reassuring. Mr Roberts is very warm and kind, and no pressure was applied. I felt that he very quickly understood what bothered me, and comprehensively explained the subtle amendments he would recommend in my case. I was given lots of time to ask questions, and (unlike I have previously with other surgery) did not feel rushed through. He modelled out his vision on a computer image in order to ensure we had the same expectations. He did NOT prey on insecurities and did not suggest any changes which I hadn't initiated. I felt that he fully explained the risks.
The process itself (at King Edward VI hospital) was the easiest surgery I have had. I felt no pain at all, and upon waking I did not feel drowsy or off-colour (I had a closed procedure, and my nose was not broken). The nurse who was there as I came round told me that Mr Roberts’s patients rarely bruise - and I didn’t at all. I wore a cast for a week, and when this was off there was a little swelling, but this was not noticeable. Given the terrifying rhinoplasty youtube videos, I had reconciled myself with the idea that I would have two black eyes - but these never materialised! I was able to go out as normal as soon as the cast was off, and resumed exercise almost immediately too. Sleeping propped up, and having to wear a cast for a week, were the only inconveniences.
I have subsequently been to two routine post-surgery check ups and we are both very happy with the outcome. At every point throughout the process he has been accessible and given me ample time.
I feel very well taken care of by Mr Roberts, the anaesthetist, and the team at King Edward VI. The end result is exactly as I had wanted; very natural - I don’t look at all ‘done’. I would recommend him without hesitation: My downtime was minimal due to his gentle approach and skill, and he has given me a result that really suits my face.
Please do feel free to ask qs. I hope that this is helpful.
I am British, female, 30 years old, had a closed procedure, and my nose was not broken.
