Happy with my Decision

He is very knowledgeable and definitely has a good eye. I had a C shape nose and a hump that bother me since I was young teen. I'm now in my 30's and I'm so happy I decided to go with Dr. Grigoryants. I have been admiring his work for a while. Yesterday I had my surgery. I wasn't scared or nervous whatsoever. Everyone was so nice and sweet with wonderful bedside manners. After the surgery I just felt a little pressure in my eyes and forehead. I put some ice careful not to get anything wet and the swelling and pressure went away. Trying to sleep was a challenge my mouth was very dry. I kept a glass of water with a straw to rehydrate my mouth. I've also been drinking organic pineapple juice since it had bromeline to help with swelling. I immediately notice a difference after drinking the juice. My troat was a little sore from the breathing tube and the juice helped immensely. Today is my first day after the surgery and everything is going well.

Did you have to travel or do you live close by? I live in Northern California and trying to figure out how to go about this whole process.

That’s awesome! Did you have your consultation over the phone or in person? How soon were you able to book your surgery?

I live in So Cal my commute was just 2.5 hours. I did get a hotel the night before my surgery. I didn't want to risk it with the traffic.

Cast removal

Yesterday I had my cast removed along with splints and sutures in my nostrils the process was not painful it felt le a little pinch totally doable. My nose was super stuffy and crusty on the inside. I started irrigating my nose with saline spray and continuing to apply vaseline on my nostrils. But, so far I'm very happy. I've been using arnica montana 30C since the day after my operation. I had no real brushing and swelling has been minimal. I also drank organic pineapple juice for the first 5 day since it contains bromelain which it's supposed to help with swelling. I honestly believe all that has made a difference. I'm happy with my results. I know I have a long year to go to see my actual nose, but so far I couldn't be happier.

I forgot to post some pictures on my previous post, but this is the day after my cast was removed. I'll post some before pictures so you all can see the huge difference. I don't really have many before pictures from the side since I hated my dorsal hump. I never would take pictures from my side, but I hope you guys can see that my nose is no longer dropping at the tip. Anyways, I hope this helps anyone out there that thinking about rhinoplasty.
