truly golden

As many have already said, Dr. Reish and his team are such a pleasure to work with. Since the initial consultation I knew he would be the surgeon I'd select.
Dr. Reish provides his patients with the same care I'd imagine celebrities or very wealthy individuals recieve when going for a cosmetic procedure. The fact that he provides you with his personal number to contact him with any concerns, and checks in to see how everything is going post-op is truly GOLDEN! I cannot even begin to express how cared for I felt. Days after the surgery I needed a perception and within the 1hr the pharmacy had it ready for me & this was on a Saturday. I mean, let's be real, how many surgeons make themselves available to all their patience in such a way?!
I'm a week post op and my nose is still very swollen, but I can already tell the huge difference. Dr. Reish sent me a photo of my side profile after the surgery and I was truly blown away. The result looks stunning and I cannot wait for all the swelling to go down.
If you want great results along with a Dr. who will be available to you when you need him, he's the one! Dr. Reish is one of a kind.

Per request I decided to submit an update of my progress for all of you who are interested in the process and experience.
It's been pretty difficult if I'm being honest, as I'm sure we're all hoping our noses will be in their final form shortly after cast removal(not realistic). However, it's been quite a slow process for me. My nose has been quite swollen and most of it is unevenly swollen causing a lot of anxiety. The appearance looks crooked(one of the reasons for the surgery), but I try to reassure myself everything will turn out fine once the swelling resolves. Dr. Reish has great results for all his patients and I'm hoping not to be any different. I've been very careful with the recovery and I am aware that some people swell less than others, and others will have significant swelling resolution by the 1mo or 2mo mark. I will be 6 weeks on Wednesday and as you can see in the photos the swelling is still pretty prominent in different areas.
I have texted Dr. Reish a few times since my surgery and sent photos of my concerns and every single time he has responded within the same day. He has been so kind and patient with me and I appreciate that, especially during the healing process when you're not sure what's normal and what isn't.
I will continue to update with photos for those interested. I've posted one before front view photo and 3 after photos for your review.. Once the swelling resolves I'm hoping to post a photo of my nose looking marvelous!

17 Week Update
pris03December 9, 2020
Following up with an update of the latest on my nose for all of you who have messaged, commented and really anyone who's interested. I will be attaching updated photos of my swelling as well as photos of my concerns. The swelling has gone down some more, however my nose still doesn't look great, but definitely better. There is still some uneven swelling. The left upper side of my nose is more swollen than the right and the bottom right side is more swollen than my left.
I saw Dr. Reish last Tuesday, Dec 1st as I had a concern I really wanted to discuss with him in person. I had noticed before that on the left upper side of my nose where my dorsal hump was there is a pretty noticeable crack on my nasal bone. I first noticed this when my husband had taken some photos of me unexpectedly and I could see what looked like a bruise in that area. Since the swelling was still pretty prominent at that point I was not able to see it as much in the mirror or feel how big it actually was. As the swelling started to go down I started to notice that it's a pretty big crack considering the area. I still have prominent swelling in that area but I can already tell the crack runs from the top left side of my nasal bone all the way towards the eye socket. I'm not sure if this is actually cracked all the way through, but as far as I can see it runs pretty long and once the swelling resolves I'll know for sure how long this crack actually is. During my visit with Dr. Reish, he acknowledged that he was able to see it but he mentioned he normally tells patients that small things as such shouldn't be much of a concern. He stated he has had patience who's cracks have healed, however given I'm 17 weeks out I highly doubt that will happen. In addition to that, I feel as if the right side of my nasal bone is more prominent and defined than the left side is. I'm no doctor but I have a feeling it's likely associated with the fact that my bone is cracked on the left side.
I'm aware I'm fairly early on in my recovery as he mentioned it could take up to a year and a half for all the swelling to resolve. However, at this early stage I'm pretty concerned about the final outcome. The thought of my nasal bone being cracked that much doesn't seem safe or sit well with me, and it makes me uneasy that perhaps a strong enough bump to my nose will cause it to break. I can also tell there is a slight dip when I take photos at a certain angle and my fear is that once the swelling goes away completely I'll have a very noticeable dip as well as this dark line running down my nose. Dr. Reish mentioned that he doesn't conduct revisions on issues as such if he feels going back in wouldn't be beneficial and in fact cause more harm. I am 100% in agreement with that, I obviously do not want to have a revision if my nose will look worse after. However, at the same time it is disappointing that MY surgery ended up this way after him having many sucessful surgeries. Obviously we all have this surgery for medical/personal reasons and mine was due to both. My nose has been an insecurity of mine for the last 6 yrs and I still feel insecure especially when people ask why I have a "bruise". I know the crack will not heal or miraculously seal but I'm hopeful that the final outcome makes me feel more confident than before. And if that's not the case I really hope Dr. Reish can address this concern, especially if it is a medical concern.
I also want to mention I was not expecting a "perfect" nose, but I'm sure you can understand that a cracked nasal bone is far from ideal. Dr Reish has been very responsive to my messages and very nice despite me reaching out various times. He also asked that I continue to keep him updated on this issue.
I'll give it some more time and will follow up with an update.
