girl in her 20's totally nervous for her surgery!

I have had a problem with my nose for the majority of my life. I have a relatively small mouth and eyes and always felt my nose was way too big when compared to my other features. As I've gotten older I've been hit in the nose too many times to count which has made my large nose more asymmetrical and harsh. I never let anyone take my picture when I was an early teen (it was even bigger then!) and once I got over that, I basically just accepted that most photos would be unflattering unless it was taken from those few good angles.

Well, I finally decided it was worth the risk to look into surgery. In December, I booked a consult with Dr. Grigoryants and then after a cancellation had my consult in January! I feel he is extremely talented and when we were talking he seemed to understand what I want, but when he did that finger profile thing (where he kind of shows what the nose would look like) I couldn't picture it/decide if I liked it!

Luckily (or not so luckily) for me, after all the nose trauma I've had, my septum is pretty deviated so surgery only cost me (lol, only) $5,800 before the $500 I have to pay the facility the day of my surgery. I was expecting around 10k, so that was a good surprise!

I had my pre-op about a week ago and I *think* he understands what I want, but it’s so scary to not really know what my nose will end up looking like! My Mom is fairly supportive right now and my sisters *kind of* get it but are scared I won’t look like myself. I’m just so nervous that A. it won’t look great and B. everyone is going to gossip about my nose!

The next month is going to be brutal waiting :(

I chose Dr. Grigoryants after doing a ton of research into the best plastic surgeons for rhino in Los Angeles. He has been very professional and surely knows how to make some very pretty noses! I can't wait to see mine!
