Nose is more crooked, looks wider in the front & hump still exists
ORIGINAL POST
Flat and Crooked Nose
Over one year post op, went in to straighten nose and remove dorsal hump. I did not want anything else change and especially not my front profile (other than the crookness). Doctor Gray reassured me multiple times that it would not change my front profile or impact the height on the side. The end result made me regret my decisions every single day.
My nose is now more crooked, looks wider in the front, and I realized the hump still exist because too much of septal cartilage was removed, there is now a dip in my nose, and my nostrils now looks bigger as a result of the height reduction.
Went back for post-op and Dr Gray dismissed all of my concerns as having perfectionism and refused revision. I have since consulted many other surgeons and all have validated those concerns. I would not recommend this doctor for rhinoplasty, he does not have the skills to perform a primary let alone a revision.
