Finally Breathing
Finally Breathing
For my entire life I have lived with a deviated septum. I have always struggled with sinus drainage down the back of my throat, and it finally got to the point that my sinuses were so backed up it was effecting head and ears. The doctors all said there was nothing wrong with me but finally referred me to an ENT specialist. After doing a ct scan it was discovered that I had a deviated septum, and I was referred to Dr Berens. She explained what needed to be done and showed me on my ct scan.
After surgery the first amazing thing that I noticed is that I can breathe. I didn't know I couldn't breath before. She was very gentle and I had no bruising after the procedure. She answered all my questions, and was very helpful and considerate. The other benefit I have noticed is that I can actually sing better than I could before I can hit the notes clearer, which is important to me as I sing in my church choir.
Overall I had a good experience, and have greatly benefited from this surgery.
