Internal valve collapse and breathing issues plus aesthetically poor results

ORIGINAL POST

2 Years Later, Full of Filler and in Need of Revision

$18,000
I’m an executive in NYC and thought I made the safe choice with RR, I’ve waited a 2 years to post this to ensure a fully healed result. Yes he is nice and gives you his number, but most surgeons do provide direct access post op. And you should look at how many reviews here are from 5-10 days post op- ridiculous! He solicited a review from me at 6 days when I was still in the cast and on pain meds- how can anyone judge a result so early? I am 2 years out and have a revision booked in November because I have internal valve collapse and breathing issues plus aesthetically poor results- bridge irregularities (dents, bumps) and my drooping tip is back. I have uneven alar retraction making the internal scars visible and one of the graft tips is visible (covered in scar tissue). My surgery was less than 90 minutes, every visit has been rushed and I have received steroid shots every 6 weeks for nearly 2 years and 4 rounds of fillers to fix things. He used filler in the places where the valve collapse was visible from outside. Yes he was nice but has continued to tell me there is nothing wrong and that 3 ENTs are lying to me about the structural issues. I’ve seen 3 ENTs(non plastics), plus consulted with 5 plastics and everyone has noted the same issues including my severely deviated septum- which he said he was going to fix and apparently never touched. He now says it takes 3-5 years for swelling to go away. I think he rushes, takes on too many cases and then fails to take accountability for any unexpected issues in post op period. Fillers and steroids for 2 years isn’t normal.

You are brave for posting this! I had the same experience. Sorry this happened to you :(
I had such a similar experience although I’m only 3 months post op. My husband was shocked how quickly i was out of surgery, and my results aren’t looking so good
