Office review: Extremely Disappointed & Disgusted by the Treatment I Received by the Patient Coordinator

After waiting a year for my consult which was initially scheduled in Oct 2020 for May 2021, with my consult being rescheduled by the office not once but twice, I finally was able to meet with Dr ghavami in the end of August 2021. During our consult, Dr Ghavami seemed very knowledgeable, friendly, and we decided on a game plan for the surgery. To note; I did not mind the long wait to see Dr G for a consult as I really had my heart set on this doctor. After the consult he instructed me to wait for the patient coordinator to obtain a quote and book surgery. I waited for 45 mins for the patient coordinator and then was informed by the front desk that she was still busy & would probably be another hour so they advised me that my patient coordinator, Chammy, would call me next day to discuss next steps. Well its been almost a month now and no one has reached out to me. I have tried calling the office multiple times and the patient coordinator is NEVER available to speak & has neither returned my calls or emails (basically ignoring me). I even asked to be assigned to another patient coordinator (perhaps one that is actually responsive to prospective patients ) & the front desk informed me that I had to wait for the patient coordinator assigned to my case to respond back to me (offering no resolution). I understand Dr G is in high demand (which I understand) but after waiting a year I would expect the office to show some level of human decency and professionalism to AT LEAST respond to a prospective patient. Extremely disappointed & disgusted by the treatment I received by this patient coordinator. I understand this review is not related to Dr ghavami's skill set but if you cant even get a response related to pricing, and scheduling next steps etc then what is the point of going through this long process just to be ignored by his staff who are the ones responsible for helping you to actually book surgery with Dr Ghavami? I just wasted so much time that could have been spent elsewhere. I wouldn't of even cared about the long wait time if I was actually moving forward in the process, but again getting zero response back from this office is truly frightening. Imagine something went wrong and you were trying to communicate with the patient coordinator and they just choose to ignore you? i would not be surprised if this was the case based on my experience on how the staff here operates and treats patients. I've read other reviews of people sharing very similar experiences which I should have paid attention to. Just overall truly disgusted with how I was treated by the patient coordinator here, so just beware.
