botched!!!!

It’s disappointing to have to write my review years later / after my rhinoplasty back in 2020. It is now fully healed and it’s extremely upsetting that I went in with ONE issues which was my bump on my nose but LEFT WITH AN ISSUE / BOTCHED NOSTRILS when originally they were never messed up in the first place. I WAS HAPPY with my front profile before surgery and I left HATING IT. I knew something was not right after my surgery with my front profile which he kept insisting it was only healing; I have informed myself and educated myself well online & I know for a FACT my alar rim retracted. Which he denied to me stating “I understand you’re a perfectionist”- he is a great surgeon in regards to making you feel comfortable and bedside manners but other than that I’m not sure how I feel about his work as a surgeon. Great job removing the bump on my nose but that’s it. All I can say is disappointing, now I have to PAY for a revision else where because I will not be returning to him again.

I know it's been awhile, hoping you see this. Did you ask for a revision from Dr Robb?

Hi!!! Back in 2020 he did say revision would've been like 1-2K but I honestly did not trust to get it reviewed by him. I know NOW if his previous clients try to get a revision the cost is basically a new rhinoplasty procedure if it has been a while since you've seen him (20K from my understanding) I did go to a new DR for revision but it would have been 20k & I honestly am not going to pay that much... nor do I have that money... I learned to accept the new nose I have, at times it does bothers me & at times it's whatever more so bc it's been about 4 years now, but the new DR did say with plastic surgery there is always risks in the healing especially so he cannot asure 100% results / perfection so I rather not get it revised anymore. Hope that helps!!!

Thank you so much for responding! The price for revision now is insane. I got mine back in 2019 and I've gone back and forth on if I should reach out to him for a revision. I'm sorry you had this experience, this surgery is such a big decision and I wish it had gone better for both of us!

Disappointed

ameza3
It’s been over a year of my open rhinoplasty. I went in with my main concern being my bump; it was successfully removed however I left with my front profile / nostrils being botched.
Originally nothing was wrong with them & I knew/insisted something wasn’t right; but he kept insisting they were healing. After months of healing I know for a fact my nostril retracted. Extremely disappointed and upsetting how I paid a large some of money for me to leave with my nostrils messed up when I clearly stated I liked my front /original (no surgery) profile. Now I have to go else’s where.

Can you change your review rating from 5 star to lower? I have a similar problem with dr. Robb. My rhinoplasty was botched! i paid more than you too. I dont think he has the skillset thats needed. Don't get me wrong, he is soo nice, but with what he charges compared to other surgeons, its almost insulting what he produces. I Havent posted anything yet, but I will.

Hi! I just saw this comment Omg, but I'm so sorry to hear your experience wasn't the best... thankfully mine isn't SUPER noticeable to other but to ME it is.... I just learned to not pay so much attention to it & be grateful for the nose I have unfortunately. I did consult with another DR for a revision, but it would've been 20k & honestly it would not have been 100% perfection as plastic surgery does carry risks.

My Experience Was Outstanding!

I have been wanting to do my nose since the age of 15/16! I am now 22 & throughout those years I would do my research in regards to rhinoplasty as well as watch videos. I consulted with only the TOP best surgeons within my area (ATL). Dr Robb was the second I consulted with, the whole staff and himself make you feel welcome and are extremely friendly. He answered all questions I had in detail. I was then stuck between Dr Robb & the last/3rd dr I consulted with and I went with who I felt most comfortable with.. DR ROBB! I went into surgery with a septo-rhinoplasty (I did not know I had a deviated septum if it weren’t for Dr.Robb) After surgery turns out my nose was fractured & DR Robb took the time to fix that for me as well which I appreciate! Due to the reason if I were to not go to a reputable Surgeon he/she may have not fixed that for me! I am extremely satisfied with my results!

Thank you so much for this post! I’ve wanted a rhinoplasty since 13, and I’m 22 now too. I’m still in the research process, so your experience is very helpful. And your results look AMAZING!
