If I could turn back time
I can definitely say I no longer feel as positive about my results as what I had previously mentioned! I was at the time very happy with the results but I can see now it was all disguised by swelling. I’m now over two years post op and I think this is one of the biggest mistakes I’ve made. Initially I was so hung up on my side profile being bump free that I completed ignored how my nose looked from the front, and I’ve got to say it’s a mess. It’s now my biggest insecurity.
Also left with two different side profiles.

Now that the swelling is going down I’m starting to notice that there’s still a bump visible on my bridge. I don’t think it will get any better as it’s fairly hard like bone so I’m a little disappointed about it as the bump was my main concern pre op. Granted it’s 100% better than it was but I was hoping for a completely bump free nose. It’s definitely less visible in certain lighting and different angles.
I’m not sure if my tip will get any smaller or not, I understand the tip is the last place swelling usually subsides so I’m hoping it will change a little more as I think it looks a bit bulbous still. I’m happy with the tip lift I was given but overall I still wanted a smaller nose and I do think it looks more on the bulbous side.

Still very happy with my nose! I’ve taken some update pics to compare the swelling - the dates are a bit all over the place but I can still see the difference between them. I can’t see much difference in my side profile so I’m not sure if that’s just how it looks from now on or if it will change at some point, but I’m excited to see what it looks like in a year if I’m happy with how it looks now!
My nostrils are slightly uneven, I’m not actually too bothered by it though. It could be swelling but I’m about 90% sure they are uneven. Either way I’m okay with it. I can’t tell when I’m looking in the mirror so it doesn’t bother me.
