Not what I expected

I finally decided to take the plunge and undergo a rhinoplasty for my biggest insecurity. The surgery itself and recovery was not bad at all! However, I am not pleased with my results. I'm about 8 months post op and I'm realizing I'm going to have to deal with my unfortunate results. I went in to get a bump shaved down, refine and slightly lift my tip. My bump was shaved down and that was about it. My nose from the front looks so big! The space in between my nostrils now points down and there's an obvious shadow that makes my nose look curved. I'm now embarrassed to take pictures from the front. My tip also sticks out too much and my tip was not lifted whatsoever. Instead, it looks more pointed down and looks pointy. I'd be weary about his Instagram videos because he does a good job of showing post op results from the side and not the front. Albeit my side looks pretty good but from the front it looks terrible. I wish I had done more research and met with my doctors before settling. Don't risk getting a good side profile for a big front nose view.

Hi everyone! So sorry I haven’t responded to any comments or posted more pics! I didn’t really go back on RealSelf after I posted my review. It has been one year and I will post pictures later tonight. I felt dr z was very arrogant and even with our in person consult he was very short and seemed as though this was just another cake walk for him. However, it’s been one year and my results are not what I expected. The tip of my nose is what I dislike the most and there’s also very noticeable shadowing on the right side of my nose.
