Me and my wife found Girin from a search result on ChatGPT for high quality, reliable plastic surgery clinics in Gangnam, and from the positive reviews on Google and the Unni app so we decided to have a Zoom consultation for facelift, necklift and rhinoplasty. We liked Dr. Han’s expertise, demeanor, how she understood our needs and how clearly she communicated her thoughts and suggestions. The pricing was fair and reasonable, so we decided to pay the deposit and schedule our visit to Seoul.
I focused on a facelift/necklift combination due to sagging jowls, loss of definition along the jawline, and excess tissue under the chin. The rhinoplasty was to increase bridge height, projection, tip refinement and alar base narrowing. After further discussions with Dr. Han, we also decided on a chin implant and lower eye fat pad repositioning. Finally, I later added lower abdominal liposuction to be done at the same time to capitalize on a single recovery period.
Dr. Han has so many verified reviews with before and after photos on the Unni app, which gave us confidence to move forward immediately after the Zoom consultation.
No pain following the surgery, just discomfort mostly from the nasal splints which kept my mouth and throat extremely dry. Thankfully, the nasal splints were removed after 24 hours, the drains after 48 hours, and by that time I was feeling close to normal, although a bit weak. Now at day 14, I still have some numbness and swelling around the upper cheeks, the jawline and the neck. Day by day there has been visible, noticeable improvement with the swelling.
We were in the clinic just about every day until the facelift stitches were removed day 9. If there were any complications, I feel confident they would have been addressed promptly and thoroughly.
