Exceptional Care, Natural Results, and a Surgeon I Trusted Completely
WORTH IT
I underwent septorhinoplasty with Dr Nizar Hamadeh in London, and I can honestly say this was one of the best decisions I have ever made.
I had been considering this surgery since I was a teenager for both functional and cosmetic reasons, but for years I felt confused and anxious about who to trust. I even paid significantly more for a consultation with another consultant closer to home, only to leave with unanswered questions and more uncertainty. From my very first consultation with Dr Hamadeh, that feeling completely changed.
Dr Hamadeh took the time to understand my full and complex medical history, listened carefully to every concern, and answered all of my questions with patience and clarity. He explained the risks, limitations, and realistic outcomes in an honest and balanced way. At no point did I feel pressured or rushed — in fact, the opposite. I never once felt like I was being “sold” surgery. His approach was thoughtful, ethical, and genuinely caring. Despite only meeting him a handful of times, I felt completely safe in his hands. You can tell he puts his absolute all into every single case.
A moment that really stayed with me was during my first consultation when I arrived with a long list of questions. I mentioned this to him, and he warmly said, “Yeah, sure — let’s go through your questions list together.” That simple response set the tone for everything that followed. I felt listened to, reassured, and cared for from day one, and that feeling has continued throughout my entire journey.
On the day of surgery, I was understandably nervous and scared, but I was kept informed at every stage. The anaesthetist and theatre team were wonderful — professional, kind, and light-hearted — they made me laugh and helped put me at ease. I felt safe throughout.
Post-operative care has been excellent. All instructions and pain management guidance were provided clearly in writing, which was incredibly helpful. Whenever I had questions or concerns, the team was very responsive. Nurse Jazzmeen deserves a special mention — she always replied quickly, thoroughly, and with kindness. Follow-up appointments were well organised, and I never felt dismissed at any point.
Now, at 5 months post-op, the results have exceeded my expectations. My breathing is so much better, and cosmetically, my nose looks fabulous. The result is natural, beautifully balanced with my face, and still very me. Importantly, Dr Hamadeh has respected my ethnicity (Pakistani) — my nose blends perfectly with my features and has not taken anything away from who I am. He truly is an artist. After having multiple consultations elsewhere, I can confidently say he is a pioneer in his field.
The surgery has genuinely improved my quality of life. I feel more confident, more comfortable in myself, and more like me. I feel gratitude every day for the care and skill that went into my outcome.
I would unequivocally recommend Dr Hamadeh — truly to anyone considering septorhinoplasty, especially those who are anxious, medically complex, or want results that are both functional and respectful of their identity. He is kind, honest, meticulous, and exceptionally talented.
