I underwent septorhinoplasty with Mr Waseem Saeed in February 2026 to correct a deviated septum so l could breathe properly, and also to improve the appearance of my nose.
From meeting Mr Saeed at the first consultation he was patient and attentive. He listened carefully to my concerns and took the time to explain everything thoroughly. His explanations were clear, and the drawings he used were particularly helpful so that I understand both the functional and aesthetic aspects of the surgery.
I had 3 consultations with Mr Saeed prior to proceeding with surgery, one of which involved having a camera up my nose so that he could see what was going on inside. I had a badly deviated septum and have never been able to breathe properly through my nose. Once he had explained exactly what he was doing to do internally to help with my breathing and we agreed on a operative plan I felt ready to proceed with the surgery.
On the morning of surgery I met the anaesthetist, Dr Khater, who was very kind and put me at ease immediately as I was a little worried about the anaesthetic as I had never had one before. I met with Mr Saeed again just to run through things before I got ready to go into theatre.
I must say thank you to the staff at Wilmslow Hospital Theatres as they were fantastic. Very professional, caring, and reassuring. They made my experience on the day of surgery as comfortable as possible.
Thank you to Tracey, Mr Saeed's secretary who was very helpful and friendly, explaining the process with detail and always there for any questions I had and keep having.
I met Mr Saeed again the morning after surgery before I went home just to make sure all was going ok.
This made me feel well looked after and showed that he really cares about his patients.
I have had 3 follow up appointments with Mr Saeed following my surgery and the results, even at week 1, when I had the cast removed are fantastic. I still obviously have swelling but my breathing is getting better by the day.
My whole surgery journey so far has been great.
I would like to say a big thank you to Mr Saeed and would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone considering rhinoplasty surgery.
