My Self Esteem Has Returned in my 50's

I had two major rhinoplasty operations on the NHS when I was in my 20's (during the 1990's ) - which wasn't really a huge success - but was liveable to the large nose I felt I was born with. When I reached 50, my face shape had changed and I felt I needed an up to date correction for my nose shape and profile (which was something I hated in photographs on one particular side). I met with Julian and we discussed the options of the operation/correction which he thought he may be able to rectify, although he explained that this would be quite complex surgery. The size of my nose was OK, but it wasn't a pretty nose I felt from some angles!. As an entertainment professional , I felt it was important to rectify this for my ongoing career. I met with Julian and his team about 10 years ago for my first consultation!...so, this wasn't something I entered into lightly. What appealed to me about Julian and his team, was that he only does nose surgery so is fully up to date with all the procedures, and it turns out rhinoplasty corrections are a large part of his work. His team were very patient with me as I went to see them for a 2nd/3rd consultation over the past decade - when I was still deciding if this was something I wanted to go through. Last year in January 2024 - I decided to finally go for it and I haven't looked back ! My friends and family haven't even noticed the correction, but have just said I look well ! Part of the cartilage from my right ear was taken to rebuild part of my nose profile, was quite painful.... and it was slight and complex but has made all the difference to my self esteem. I'm so grateful to Julian and his team for their ongoing patience, care, and not pushing me into anything. I have just had my one year check up today - feel at 52 years old I have my life back, and I can recommend Julian 100 per cent.
