Gave me clear airways and the profile I had been longing for

ISSUE:

For years I had been plagued with constant sinus congestion due to a deviated septum. Additionally, the top part of my nose featured prominent misaligned bones, which gave it a strange appearance, especially as the bones shifted over time.

Needless to say, I needed to address both of these issues.

RESEARCH: A prospective plastic surgery patient should always do one’s due diligence before selecting a surgeon. This process generally involves studying the doctor’s website, reading patient reviews, and very importantly, thoroughly examining a surgeon’s education, background, credentials and experience. Dr. Tamplen more than exceeded expectations in all of these areas. After my initial office consult, I left confident that he instinctively knew how to fix my somewhat complicated nose situation and would tackle the job with great skill, confidence and enthusiasm. I had shared photos of the nose (s) I felt would best fit my face, and the profile I desired, and was excited when I learned that this goal could be realized.

I also requested an endoscopic brow lift, another area that had been troubling me over the last few years.

PROCESS: Recovery from surgery was smooth and (please read) PAINLESS. I did not require any prescription medication during recovery; Extra Strength Tylenol proved sufficient to address any post-operative discomfort, if needed.

RESULTS: Removal of the cast revealed a non-bumpy nose with clear airways and the profile I had been longing for, which is in harmony with the rest of my face. My brows are back in their correct position. Hooray! The swelling improves week by week, as I observe my new nose continue to emerge and develop. It’s a pretty cool process.
