Dr. Reish is a NOSE Genius!
I had been contemplating having a rhinoplasty since my early twenties and finally at the ripe old age of 31, I decided to take the plunge and do it. At first glance, most people said I had a good nose. But good to me wasn’t great. My biggest issues with my nose were my dorsal hump and drooping tip (hello Jewish genes). And although having surgery to change my nose was a big risk, I couldn’t be happier with my decision to do so and that in part is because I had Dr. Reish as my surgeon.
When I had decided I was definitely going through with a rhinoplasty, I turned to a friend in the plastics field to provide me with names of doctors who he thoughts would be the BEST rhinoplasty surgeon and would give me the exact results I was looking for. His immediate recommendation was Dr. Reish. He praised him for being meticulous, precise, caring, attentive and personally felt that Dr. Reish was the best rhinoplasty surgeon in NYC. He was so right.
I consulted with Dr. Reish twice virtually, had a virtual pre op meeting 2 weeks before surgery to go over what I envisioned for my new nose and finally met him in person on the day of surgery. I also was able to send him some photos from his portfolio of before and afters that mimicked the exact results I was looking for, which was natural and refined. Every step of the way, he was reassuring, positive and confident that we could get the best results.
On the day of surgery, the entire admin and OR staff at MEETH were so wonderful and attentive, which totally calmed all my nerves because I had never had a really surgery before. Surgery was easy, out one minute, awake the next and I really had no pain when I finally woke up. Post op recovery was quick and I was home an hour or so later.
I really only had pain in my face and head the first night, otherwise, my first week of recovery was mostly plagued with swelling and bruising. Dr Reish checked in MULTIPLE times that first week. And guys, he texts you! What surgeon gives out his phone number and texts you?! That was the most supportive and genuine part of the post op recovery. If I had a question or concern, I could text him, and he would answer promptly with such a calming tone and instant reassurance that what I was going through was so normal.
Today, I saw Dr. Reish at his Park Avenue office for my 1 week check in. My nose cast was removed and stitches were cut and truth be told, I almost cried seeing my new nose. It was as if the nose I had wanted my whole life was instantly transported onto my face. With that being said, my nose was still swollen and bruised, but I was in shock at how amazing my side profile looked just one week out from surgery! I’m honestly so excited to see what it looks like in the weeks to come and I know I made the absolute right decision in getting the surgery.
If you want a natural, beautiful, cute, little new nose, and a doctor who is genuine, attentive and highly skilled… Dr. Reish is your guy!
