Rhinoplasty with Dr Grigoryants day 1

WORTH IT$10,300
So I got a rhinoplasty with Dr. G and hands down a great experience.
Little back ground I am indian and have very thick skin so Dr G was the perfect choice cause he specialize in ethnic noses. Let me tell you, that man really knows what he's doing and is really humble about it. I felt like I was in good hands.
Anyway moving onto surgery, I got my surgery done. I was nervous but his team of nurses and anesthesiologist made me so comfortable. I was out like a light before you know and woke up in the recovery room. I felt a bit nauseous so the nurse gave me some oxygen and it helped. Always wear socks cause your feel will be cold. I was a little groggy so I went home and took a quick nap. I felt muchhhhh better when the anesthesia started wearing off. Swelling started appearing however which is normal, and I iced my face to help it, I didn't take any pain med cuse I feel fine, but congested. Which is all normal. Will update day 2 when it ends

He said he was gonna shave down my bone, and bring in the nostrils and lift the tip cause my nose was droopy when I smile!

how often did you change the gauze the day of? how much bleeding did you have? and did you have blood in your phlegm?
August 15, 2020
The first two 2days there was a lot of blood. But now it's very little blood and more yellow mucus. I change it every two hours and apply Vaseline at the tip of my stitches so it stays lubricated

Day 2

bableenkaur
I think day 2 was the hardest for me, I haven’t cause of the congestion and not being able to breathe. I feel no pain, so I haven’t taken any painkiller but the congestion is killing me. I can’t wait to get the cast off. My nose gets irritated so I do sneeze. I freaked out by sneezing, but the doctors office told me it’s totally normal and it won’t mess anything up. I’m just gonna tough it out and get through this. There is absolutely no pain but just a lot of discomfort. And my swelling has been the worst one day 2.
