Horrible Experience and Outcome

I went to Perry Johnson September 7th 2022. The only reason I went to see Perry Johnson, was to correct and remove my dorsal hump. Strictly cosmetic as there was NOTHING functionally wrong with my nose and it was perfectly straight. After surgery with Perry Johnson, I still had the dorsal hump, and immediately after cast removal noticed a NEW bump protruding from my left side of my nose (bone), my nose was now crooked, my septum deviated and collapsed nasal wall on my right side. He dismissed it as swelling. It was absolutely NOT swelling. The new bump was bone ridge protruding from my left side. He knew it was wrong and said “i don’t know how the hell that happened” Perry Johnson wanted to try and “fix” the bumps only 4 months after initial surgery. He said he would give me Xanax in office with a local shot to numb the area and to try and chisel/ rasp the bumps down. I refused bc i was not comfortable with anything he described doing. He also offered another surgery but i no longer trusted him as a surgeon since such a simple procedure turned into multiple complications. Also everything I have researched and other surgeons I spoke to said to wait at least a year because that’s how long it takes to fully heal. I’m glad i trusted my gut bc the appearance only got worse and the breathing issue developed around January/February 2023. I had to go
To a reconstruction surgeon to fix the issues Perry Johnson caused AND the bump he never fixed in the 1st place. I asked for my money back and he said he couldn’t that “his hands were tied”. I filed a complaint with patient relations and “the leader board” said these were all risks of surgery and I’m not able to get any kind of refund. Perry Johnson also drastically ruined two other people’s noses that i know personally (we all got surgery around the same time frame) this man shouldn’t be allowed to perform surgery on anyone’s faces. I had to pay almost double to correct my nose. Do NOT go to Perry Johnson unless you want emotional and financial distress. He could care less if he ruins your entire aesthetic. When i told him i didn’t trust him to do another surgery, he asked if i had anyone in mind. I told him who i was getting a second opinion from (i shouldn’t have) and he took it upon himself to call that doctor and act as a referral. I told my new doctor to remove his referral from my notes. He did NOT refer me nor did i give him permission to reach out to MY new Dr. He doesn’t even deserve 1 star.
