I Did It! It Was a Difficult Recovery for Me!

I went to Istanbul for 5 days. I got one week vacation and wasn't gonna waste it. The doctor actually wanted me to stay longer so he could take off the cast, but I gotta run!!
I arrived in Istanbul on January 26 and the same day I did my covid test. I went back to a cheap hotel I booked and had a meal before 12am (can't eat or drink past that time). Went to the hotel via Uber at 7am. Paid the 4900 and was sent to my room. Very clean, state-of-the-art place. I waited and waited and finally, Taskin came through. He said off the bat that I had a round face so I cant have pointy. I was like no way I wanted pointy or a doll nose. I have round cheeks like you Taskin lol!! I want a higher bridge, nothing over the top, smaller nostrils, and a less bulbous tip. Very natural looking for my round face, big cheeks, and short chin. He asked if I had any breathing problems and if I had wish pics. I told him I don't believe in wish pics, every face is different and I don't want to have an image of a perfect nose in mind because it may be a different outcome. Besides, it's always best to find the best of the best in the field and trust in the Doctors expertise. The nurse nodded and the doctor told me he won't let me down and that he is happy that I have faith in him. The nurses did not speak a lot of English but I gesture to them and did a lot of smiling. They are so cute and they are ready to help. Finally, the time came and I went under... woke up to this congestion in my nose, the rib pain is the worse, and the fact that you have to breathe through your nose. Two days later I went to Taskin office, and I was dizzy and very very swollen. I didn't eat and I barely drank any water. Was just busy rushing and running all over town trying to enjoy my time there. While waiting to get my teeth whitening, I asked for water and from there I was spacy, shaking, and even dizzier. The nurses saw me, took my cup, took off my jacket and a doctor came with the IV. And just like that my head felt lighter, less tight, less swollen, I felt less warm now a lot better. I can't believe how quickly they acted. After the scare, I went to go get myself a salad and chocolate cake lmao! I wanted to lose 25lbs but not at this time. It's been one month now. And yesterday I went back to the gym. Went on the Stairmaster for 11mins and rode the seated bicycle. I went to the quad machine and I had trouble with my rib incision! That rib pain is a bitch! Will take my time though and take it easy for another 2 weeks. Then back to lifting again!!! By the way, I always wear tape on my nose, morning and night. I realize when I don't and go to bed. I have swelling. 

The swelling you can see very bad. I didnt have any headaches but my face felt tight and heavy because of the swelling that happened the next day. I had booked a hotel the day before so when I left memorial bahcelievler hospital I went straight for the uber and to hotel to rest

3 months after rhinoplasty with dr umit TASKIN. Wanted to post a update for all those who ask about swellling. In the morning I do have swelling after waking up. Then by end of day I look normal.
