Deeply Remorseful for Choosing This Surgeon

Choosing Dr. Arko Demianczuk for my rhinoplasty is a decision I deeply regret. Two years post-procedure, I am still grappling with results that have led to significant emotional distress.

After my rhinoplasty with Dr. Demianczuk, my nose has taken on an awkward and unattractive appearance to put it lightly, a clear outcome of poor surgical execution. The nasal bone appears to have been inadequately refined, resulting in a noticeable disconnect between the bone and the altered cartilage.
This has created a prominent dent in my nose, along with a visible outline of my skull unless I use filler to mask it.
Additionally, there is a significant imbalance:

my right nostril is noticeably pinched and much smaller than the left, often closing shut when I breathe unless I actively flare my nostrils.
Now, in every unplanned photo taken of me, I find myself flaring my nostrils, a situation that is both embarrassing and was never an issue before the surgery.

This is not a matter of personal perception all of my friends and family were upset for me when they saw the results.

Despite raising my concerns multiple times during post-operative meetings, none of my issues were adequately addressed..

Dr, Demianczuk’s lack of bedside manner after the procedure was the first red flag that things hadn’t gone well. He did not make an appearance after the surgery—a standard courtesy among most doctors—and failed to be present when my stitches and bandages were removed. It felt as though he was deliberately avoiding the situation, knowing the surgery hadn’t gone as planned. Furthermore, he did not take before-and-after photos to review the changes he made. The only photo he took after the procedure was a quick snap on his phone after he filled the dents with filler as an attempt to mask the unsettling appearance of his mistakes.

To make matters worse, I had also signed up for a fat transfer before my surgery but got cold feet . Dr. Demianczuk charged me half of the total surgery fee for canceling, despite still using the operating room time. This struck me as both cold and unethical. Ultimately, I lost $20,000 and all I was left with was a botched nose job.

I hope that sharing my experience will help others make more informed decisions regarding their cosmetic procedures.
