The Best Decision I Could Have Made

I genuinely cannot say enough good things about Dr. Reish and his team of nurses and his anesthesiologist. Choosing to have a primary rhinoplasty was a HUGE decision for me. I had thought about changing my nose since high school/college, but plastic surgery and the idea of actually going through with it always terrified me. I knew that if I ever did it, I needed to feel completely confident in the surgeon I chose.
The second I found Dr. Reish, everything felt right. I started watching his TikToks and Instagram videos and basically consumed every piece of content I could find, haha. His knowledge of rhinoplasty, the way he explains everything, how genuinely passionate he is about what he does, and most importantly, how natural his results are immediately stood out to me. I remember thinking that my search was over. If I was ever going to do this, he was going to be my surgeon.
I was honestly even nervous going into my consultation, but he immediately put me at ease. What really confirmed my decision was that when he looked at my nose and explained what he would recommend, he essentially described EXACTLY what I wanted before I even had to explain it. I never wanted to look like a different person or have an obviously “done” nose. My biggest fear was losing the things that made me look like me. I wanted refinement, better tip support and balance and a natural result, and I felt like he understood that immediately.
I ended up traveling from South Carolina to New York for surgery, which felt like a pretty big undertaking, but I would make that decision again in a heartbeat. After being nervous for MONTHS leading up to surgery, I was actually shocked by how calm I felt the morning of. From the moment I arrived, I felt incredibly taken care of. The nurses were wonderful, especially Amanda, and my anesthesiologist was so compassionate and reassuring. By the time I went into surgery, I genuinely felt at peace and knew I was in great hands.
Another thing I really appreciate about Dr. Reish is how accessible he is. He gives his patients his personal number and has been available throughout recovery when I’ve had questions at random times. You can really feel that this is something he is deeply passionate about and that he cares about his patients beyond just the surgery itself. His guidance and willingness to answer any question makes me feel so at ease.
I’m only 11 days post op as I’m writing this, so I know I have a LOT of healing and swelling left, but I’m already so excited!! Even this early, it looks so cute and, most importantly, still looks like ME. I can’t wait to watch my results continue to reveal themselves over the next year.
