Best Decision I Ever Made :-)
WORTH IT
I had this surgery done twice overseas, first time when I was 14, second when I was 24, finding the right Dr is not half the battle, it is the battle, I had cartilage removed from my ear to fix my bent nose, turbinate reduction and Rhinoplasty to fix my bent nose.
Times changed compared to when I first had this done in 1991, Dr Younger said I could remove them the 2nd day! So by Day 2 I was able to breath normally for the 1st time in my life, my nose turned from a juicebox straw to a High performance exhaust pipe in 24 hours.
I had 3 headaches since Surgery, I used to get at least 3 sinus headaches a week, I don't need any more pills or nasal sprays, I just wish I found Dr younger earlier
ps My nose is no longer bent, it is clearly smaller even though it's still a bit swollen ( that takes 3-6 months) but wow I have to stop looking at myself in the mirror lol

Thanks Torey, will be posting an update soon :-)
I’m having the same thing done next month. What’s the best position to sleep. Upright or flat on back.
I had cartilage removed from my left ear so I couldn't sleep on my left side for about 3 weeks, if you can sleep flat on your back that would be the best option, I couldn't, your ear will hurt more than your nose, the few times I accidentally slept on my left right I had terrible headaches the next day, ask your Dr for a good pain killer to help you sleep, good luck :-)

Thanks for sharing your photos and experience! I hope swelling continues to go down. Looking forward to seeing updates on it!
