Cast removal

Got my cast off today!!! Wow! Still cannot breath lol and I’m leaking clear fluid. But the casts off so that’s progress lol so I’m crazy swollen and look like an avatar but wow I see a huge difference already! Was finally able to far s shower today and smelled something for the first time since surgery, my husbands cologne never smelled sooooo yummmyyyy! So excited to start to see the swelling go down, I’ll continue to take arnica to help. Taping is directed at night only for a month. I’ll put pictures of my avatar face and some before shots so you can see the difference already.

Day 4

Day 4 swelling is starting to go down, I can finally feel my nostrils when I remove the gauze. It’s starting to drip clear yellow instead of blood. Bruising is going down and turning yellow completely on my left eye and just starting to do so on my right. No pain just uncomfortable today, I can feel the secretions drip down my nose which grosseeeesssss me out. Still taking arnica religiously which I truly think has helped me a ton. Starting eating solids today, I definitely can’t taste anything and the chewing process was not as uncomfortable as I thought it be. Cast has been itcccchhhhhyyyyyyyy, 2 more days until it comes off! Also, my cheeks have been soooo swollen today, like a chipmunk!

Day 3

Swelling is starting to go down and bruising is starting to turn yellow, pain comes and goes between a 2-3. Overall not too bad at all, asides from the sneezing and coughing. Still bleeding pretty frequently and changing the gauze out about every 2-3 hours depending how long I’m on my feet for.
