How it works
- Our highly-trained Review Moderation team evaluates all reviews before they're published to ensure they're written by people like you and not a member of a doctor's office.
- This multi-step process takes up to 24 hours from review submission to publication.
- Doctors can't pay to have reviews removed or hidden.

Rhinoplasty by Mr David Roberts - Overwhelmed
I don't normally leave reviews but this surgery was so important to me that after reading some bad reviews about Mr David Roberts, I needed to share my experience. Without going in to too much detail, my nose had been previously broken (accidental) leaving a nasty bump and all bent to the left. My septum was also severely damaged. A previous surgeon had told me that my nose couldn't be straightened without a strong septum, which broke my heart given my septum could not be repaired as such.
As a result, I spent 3 years of my life being insecure, nose-obsessed and generally hateful about the appearance of my nose. I refused to be in photos and couldn't date anyone during this time for lack of confidence.
Mr David Roberts came highly recommended and upon meeting him, I instantly felt at ease. He asked what I wanted to achieve and gave me realistic expectations. He did not go in with a hard sell tactic, but gladly answered any questions I had. He told me to go away and think about it but I shortly after booked in for surgery, which was on May 1st 2019.
Surgery was as explained and recovery was as explained. I'm quite a low maintenance individual, but all the support was available at the hospital and through Mr Roberts' clinic, should I have needed it. His Secretary is also lovely and extremely helpful.
I returned one week later to have the cast removed and Mr Roberts asked me if I had been okay thus far etc, again, putting me at ease.
The cast was removed and I nearly cried with tears of joy when he passed me the mirror. I think I tried to hug him as I was so grateful already by this point, with what he has achieved for me!
He explained which areas needed extra care by me (massaging to help circulation / saline solution to rinse inside). Given this wasn't a straightforward job, the results were outstanding.
Yes I still have some bruising and swelling, but this is to be expected with this surgery. This man has improved the quality of my life with the surgery he has performed, and I don't say that lightly.
I am astounded to read negative comments about his lack of explanations / care - surely anyone considering this surgery would have done a great deal of research, considering all the pros and cons, not jump in head first without being sure? I agree that having this procedure is a huge decision to make, and shouldn't be rushed or taken lightly BUT that is what all the consultations are for.
If there is anyone out there just half as unhappy as I was, I would urge you with confidence to meet with Mr David Roberts. I would be happy to share before/after photos for anyone considering this surgery with him.
