Consultation with Mark Solomos
curious6756August 3, 2018
Went for a consultation and paid 100£ to see Mark Solomos, was the most unhelpful appointment I’ve had especially for the price of 100£. His hands stank when he touched my face, are doctors not supposed to wash their hands between each client? Treated me as if I was very inexperienced and made me feel wet uncomfortable and stupid, appointment was super awkward. Didn’t seem to understand what I wanted and said that he could do what I wanted to get done but I MIGHT have breathing problems! How can he say that I might have breathing problems? Of course if it would affect my breathing, then the surgery would be out of the question! Would never compromise my breathing for cosmetic purposes (rhinoplasty). I will add a more detailed review later on, but I hope what I’ve said so far can deter new potential clients from spending 100£ on a very useless appointment.

I must say I was very pleased with my consultation. He didn't patronise me at all and was very particular in ensuring that I understood the potential risks... breathing problems being one of them - having seen a small selection of surgeons, this is standard for rhinoplasty!
So far he appears to be the most expensive but by far the most thorough, he was able to show me a number of examples of his work with a nose such as mine (complex) and the results exceeded my expectations.
A number of surgeons have looked at my case and have kind of indicated that thay could 'give it a go' whereas Mark seemed to take a genuine interest in my case and has made me feel confident in his future work.
