So pleased with the results - cannot thank Mr Rowe-Jones enough

For years I have had real issues with my nose, in particular with my side profile, which often sparked unwanted comments from others. This had lead me to feel incredibly self-conscious about my appearance and I would fear the moment a camera would be pulled out at work and social events.
My nose was somewhat of an unusual example and when searching through various surgeon’s testimonials and before/after photographs I struggled to find anyone with a nose similar to mine to compare. I had spoken to a couple of surgeons more local to me (Northern England) but felt a little rushed though the process and also as though they were fairly limited in what they could achieve. I knew then that I wanted to speak with a surgeon with a specialism in rhinoplasty and my research lead me to Mr Rowe-Jones.
After the initial online consultation I immediately felt comfortable with Mr Rowe-Jones and I enjoyed listening to his expertise and respected his honesty in terms of expectations and results.
At first I was apprehensive at the prospect of having the psychological assessment as it was not something I would have opted into had it not been compulsory. However, I found it to be an incredibly positive experience and I enjoyed the opportunity to talk about my feelings and answer questions about how I may feel in certain scenarios. I left the appointment feeling confident that I wanted to progress to the face to face consultation with Mr Rowe-Jones.
The face to face appointment was a great experience from start to finish and the whole team at The Nose Clinic were extremely welcoming and professional, making a potentially daunting experience very comfortable. The computer generated images gave me a realistic expectation to work from and Mr Rowe-Jones gave me lots of helpful information regarding his intentions during surgery and outcomes expected.
The hospital experience was very pleasant. The hospital itself is incredibly clean and comfortable and the medical staff were wonderful throughout my one night stay. My partner was also able to visit me with ease and was made to feel welcome by staff.
Mr Rowe-Jones spoke to me prior to surgery and made me feel at ease. He visited me shortly after to inform me that the procedure went well and that he was pleased.
The following day Mr Rowe-Jones came to visit before I was discharged to talk to me more in detail about the procedure and after care and I left for the long journey home feeling that I had been in incredibly good hands and was looking forward to my splint removal in two weeks.
When the splint was removed a couple of weeks later I was so pleased with the results. It was explained to me that the swelling would go up and down over the coming weeks and months but generally it would start to settle down and life could resume to normal. I was at a family wedding shortly after this and nobody had noticed that that I had recently had surgery. The results were incredibly natural and swelling was minimal.
A year on from my surgery and I am so pleased with the results and can not thank Mr Rowe-Jones and his team enough. My nose has been tweaked sympathetically and I still very much look like myself, just more refined. A straighter appearance from the front and a more refined side profile. Many people close to me haven’t noticed, though I feel much better in myself and more confident in social situations. I certainly have lost the sense of internal panic I once felt in the presence of a camera!
I strongly recommend Mr Rowe-Jones to anyone considering rhinoplasty and I can’t thank him and his team enough for making it such a pleasant experience from start to finish.
