I was looking for the best surgeon to complete a complex septorhinoplasty. After extensive research, I consulted and selected Dr Row-Jones. The issue treated was a badly broken nose, which had caused an S-shaped deviated septum and a retracted columella, as well as worsening an existing dorsal hump. The collapsed septum and retracted columella had resulted in two thirds of the nostril floor being blocked, affecting breathing and sleeping, and causing snoring. Furthermore, facial palsy had also removed muscular control on the same nostril that was already partially blocked, worsening the situation.

Following thorough and informative consultations, the target outcome was set and my expectations were managed very clearly. My primary goal was to restore functional efficiency for breathing. In order to do this my septum and my nose bone had to be straightened, and my columella restored. The secondary goal was to restore symmetry to my face and slightly reduce the dorsal hump, effectively returning to my original appearance. The procedure required various grafts, and given the multiple complications, a great result demanded the attention of a vastly experienced and precise surgeon.

I am 10 months post-surgery, and the outcome has been outstanding, the best result I could have hoped for. My nose bone, septum and columella are successfully restored, allowing a clear path for air to pass. My sleeping and energy levels are much improved, and my snoring has reduced. Aesthetically, I have returned to my original appearance and my confidence has jumped. People have even started responding to me in the same way I remember previous to my nose being broken, it's quite a strange phenomenon and it feels great to be myself again at last.
