Rhino + chin - nose has full function and I'm relatively comfortable

WORTH IT
12 days post op, my swelling and bruising has improved so much! I can hide my black eyes pretty easily with some makeup. My chin incision is roughly 95% healed, but the bruise that I got from the implant is still working it’s way through. I’m able to work comfortably at this point

Rhino + Chin

I’m one week post op today (rhino + chin) and just got home from having my cast removed. For starters, I personally really enjoyed Dr. Portuese. He is super down to earth and made me feel really comfortable while we spent time together.
During our pre-op conversation he noticed a scar on my upper lip from a botched mole removal. I had planned on asking him for advise on how to get treat it, but before I could even get the question out of my mouth he offered to fix it for me while I was under getting my rhinoplasty. I know it sounds silly, but that made me trust him even more than I already did. He saw something that was clearly unwanted on my face, and offered to make it better (for free).
My nose has full function today, and I’m relatively comfortable. I’d say the most shocking and important thing to keep in mind while healing is that the swelling and bruises are REAL intense but they vary so much person to person. I’ll update in a month when the swelling is less visible and the bruising has healed.

You look great!
Sorry your pain is intense but you look great! Did you mean that you had a chin implant also? I don't see any bruising from that. Is the bruising around the eye from the rhinoplasty? Hang in there!
My bruising from the chin was pretty minimal on my face, it was pretty bad on my neck though. My black eyes were caused by the rhinoplasty
Did you have pain from the rhinoplasty or just the bruising and swelling? Hope you feel better quick! :)
Pain wasn’t bad for the rhinoplasty, I managed just fine with only Tylenol
Thank you for responding. I will have a face/neck lift soon and a rhinoplasty as a second procedure. I just wondered how much pain was involved....sounds like you did well!!
