I instantly saw incredible results

Mr Karoo was initially recommended by a friend who had previously had a rhinoplasty with him. Her overall summary was that the only regret she had was not doing it sooner.
During my initial consultation, Mr Karoo instantly understood what I was after. He was fantastic at managing expectations, and made it clear from the offset that although he will always strive for perfection, it’s not always achievable.
Following the consultation, I made the decision to go ahead with the surgery (my surgery was at the Newport hospital). The pre op appointment was seamless and the nurses during the day of my surgery were incredibly kind and helpful. This was my first, and likely last cosmetic surgery, so I was understandably incredibly nervous; as most would be. Mr Karoo came into my room prior to surgery to go through the plan of action, alongside a visit from the anaesthetist. Mr Karoo instantly made me feel relaxed and at ease, he is so confident and calm in what he does and it was visible to see.
My post surgery recovery was surprisingly seamless. I felt slightly “hungover” post surgery, and the journey home was uncomfortable. However following a 12 hour sleep, I felt amazing. I had no requirement to take pain killers (although they are provided), and genuinely felt fine. I also had no bruising, which really shocked me. The only slight irritation was all the tape on my face and around my nose (the results were totally worth the irritation).
One week post surgery, I went back to see Mr Karoo to get the tape and cast removed. I was nervous about getting the stitching out, which ended up being fine; no pain whatsoever. I instantly saw incredible results when Mr Karoo put a mirror in front of me. I had asked Mr Karoo to try and keep my “face on” profile the same, as I didn’t want to change how I looked. My focus area was my side profile and smoothing this out. He had achieved EXACTLY what I had asked for and I left the appointment feeling overwhelmed and ecstatic.
4 months on from surgery, I am still so pleased with my results. My nose is still sore to touch primarily on the bridges, but this is to be expected after the destruction caused during surgery. Mr Karoo continues to keep in touch and his receptionists are incredibly helpful for any questions I may have along the way.
I can confidently say, my only regret was also not getting it done sooner.
I could not recommend Mr Karoo enough. He does have a waiting list (understandably so), but my god it’s worth the wait. Thank you for everything!!!
